They just split the season into two halves.

Space channel in Canada is going to air the entire miniseries season 1 and start season 2 in january i believe. I think season 2 is supposed to be around 20 episodes. they've also ordered a season 3.

That Admiral must be fucking crazy to launch alert vipers. What difference does it make if they take back Chief and Lt. Shes actually going to sacrifice her own piliots so she can execute those two guys?

Also, it seemed like Pegasus had a ton of fighters. Way more than the Galactica in the last scene.

Thought it was interesting that the 2 guys that rescued Cylon Boomer were her former/current lovers. On the fighters issue, the Galactica was scheduled to be moth-balled the day the Cylons attacked (I think that’s right). It was the previous generation’s battlestar along with the vipers. It wasn't at full staff or fully equipped. They pulled the vipers from the "museum" to fight the cylons. Also, if you notice Apollo's viper is a "newer" style than the rest on Galactica's because he flew in for the decommissioning ceremony the day of the attack. If you noticed I really like this series.

Yeah, apollo's is a Mk. 5 and the rest are Mk. 2's I believe.

I was just rewatching some of season 1 last night and the one where that drone kills 13 piliots in the landing bay Apollo says that he has 40 vipers and 21 piliots I believe. Then at the end of that one Starbuck crashes on that planet leaving 39 vipers. Not very many considering. I think this is one of the things you kind of have to look past in the series. Especially in the first episode "33" they flew something like 278 missions in 5 days or whatever doing combat landings. There's no way any of those planes could have done that. They would have needed hours if not days in between rapairs after fighting and landing, not 33 minutes.

Anyway, my original point was that it seemed the Pegasus had a shit load of vipers. Like over 100.
