is it only multiplayer? or can you play it in sp?

Dagnabit! I was hoping that by some miracle this patch would solve my crashing problem. Nope. A couple of seconds after I click "Join Game" it causes my PC to reboot. ARGH!!! I'm gameless. In trying to fix BF2 I have screwed up Spearhead and now I've got some conflict that keeps crashing it to desktop. Stupid computers.

BF2 isn't even installed on my PC.

I take this back. I hit 2000 and got Corporal. According to BF2Tracker.com I'm at 2027gp and 50% of the way to Sergeant. Looks like they lowered the requirements quite a bit.

Like Buck said, everyone's getting promoted right now. Someone was talking about the possibility of them adding more ranks past Sgt. Major of Corps but wasn't sure. Their was also a guy that claimed to be one of the beta testers and that while testing no one reached Sgt. Maj. of Army so they didn't know if there was anything past it.

Wow, the lowering of the ranking requirments is gay. IF anything it should be far higher.

Looks like I'm getting 4 new unlocks in total! I *could* check the totalbf2 forums to know, but I'll ask what you guys think I should unlock (already have G3 and G36).

I'd suggest the L85A1, I've had it for a while now and after getting used to it I can turn out more kills than with the M16.

I jus had 3 games on Wake, was mental, seems a really nice map although my U.S forces got totally raped all 3 times, it seemed impossible to get to the shore! got promoted like 3 times in 10 minutes which was weird but nice

The jets on this map will be invincible although I've not tried the AA guns out yet and their improved accuracy. Had some heavy clean sweep bombing on the go...helicopters don't last 10 seconds on this map it seems, heh

Wake Rocks! its looks so nice, defo one of my fave maps so far. I've also noticed the plants look really nice, maybe I've never looked hard enough at them before..
