DiskDoctor is awesome... its a pain to do, but it seriously works... its like this little machine with the color-scheme of an Xbox that you crank by hand. Fixed my scratchy CoD disc all up... google it, if you want.

I worked @ staples in the electronics dept for 3 years b4 doing inventory. I think I know what the disc doctor is. they have an automatic on as well.

I used to have an old shitty one, but may consider picking up something like this for the future.

Yeah, they like grind away the scratches or something, I saw somebody use that one time and it worked like a charm.

Don't waste money on disc doctors, just go out to wal-mart and buy some BRASSO. It should be where all the cleaning products are. Just put a dab of it on a lintless cloth and wipe the cd in a circular motion. This will fix just about any scratch. I have never had a scratch I couldn't fix.

put the cd in the microwave and it will melt it all back together.

I recognise the "not-scratchy-yet-fucked-up-and-skipping/jumping"-part. Happened to my The Ring 2, at the very end when she starts climbing the walls of the well. annoy: That disc is on the Green Mile, waiting for execution later this week.
