No. Get a mazda 6 instead. Why by something based on the platform but not taking full advantage of it? Mazda's are nice cars. If you are going ot get something new, get something that wont fall apart and has a long life expectancy, not a ford.[/quote:30256]

Yeah, good point. I'm still looking into all of it. cool:[/quote:30256]

mazda 6's are reall nice, i remember i wanted one before i got my eclipse. i know someone wit one in red, and ive been for a ride in it, its quite nice indeed.

dad just bought a mazda 3 sedan, its pretty sweet. luxurious, smooth and quiet ride, etc.

You can get a dodge charger for the same price or for an extra 2k you could get the base model 300C. Im sorry but this beats that ford by a huge margin

I always hated the front of that dodge there...

Milla 01-01-2006 09:10 PM

The only Charger worth its weight is the Daytona edition or the SRT-8, the other models are gay. Plus the car should of been a 2 door like the Mustang. GG dodge. but i think they learned their lesson with the Challanger they are making.

Guy I work with just bought one. He seems to like it.

I've always liked the Ford Five Hundred. I'm going to buy one of those, one of these days.

The problem with jap cars is that they fall apart when they have high mileage, or at least in my experiance they have.

Any car that has improper care taken of it will fall apart. My freinds to eg6 converted civic hatch has 266km on the body, It seems to be holding up just fine body wise, and the swapped engine (b16a2) is mint.

the 500 is just another high end sedan to me. The engine bay looks cramped and lots of plastic. I have a friend who works for a ford dealership. He says dont by any of their cars unless its a heavy duty deisel or a mustang or GT. Only by their higher end cars or else you are getting inferior quality. they break constantly, and will more likely leave you stranded compared to other makes.
My roomate's dad owns one of the largest mineke(sp) shops. He says you are always seeing fords in the shop. But makes like Honda(accura), nissan, some mitsubishi's, a few domestic cars are in the shop very rarely and when they are its usually for something small like an oil change or tire roation.

GM and toyota took nearly every award for dependability on the market in 2005. No one else came close. BMW & Volkswagon/Audi all came in dead last, with electrical failures being their big downfall.
