This is the HSV we took to Australia last year. So far I've been on 5 of these things (4 times to S. Korea for training exercises). On the way to Australia the weather got so bad at sea that when I was on the deck on my back sleeping, there were times where I would come off the deck for a few seconds because the craft rocked so much. Haha, you should of saw the head... not very pleasant. I can proudly say I've never been sea sick before :D |
I didnt puke, i tried so hard not to. Our Corpsman stood up after the second day and was like all calmly "im going to the hea...(PUKE)" fucking projectile vomit over the 3 rows of seats lol. It was ridiculous, i didnt eat for 3 days because i didnt want to leave my chair. Laying on the helo pad however helped a lot.

My dad has some fun projectile vomiting stories from when he was being transported on a flat bottom...

this sounds fun. I need to go see what it takes to get me sick.

I'd have imagined it would have been a smoother ride on that than a regular ship because the catarmaran hull looks like it's designed to cut through the water. |
