sure the rest of them are entertaining, but as far as quality film making goes its the best one... and probably the only one that stands alone as a film in the series...

RETURN OF THE JEDI is a good film as well. REVENGE COULD have been good if LUCAS had let someone else fix the dialogue and had cut HAYDEN's strings (or gotten a performance out of him like SHATTERED GLASS).

As for the change - big whoop. They are HIS MOVIES. You are under NO OBLIGATION to buy them.

And YODA looks tons better in REVENGE.

I actually thought Empire Straikes back was not one of my favs. I mean the battle of hoth was just bad ass, but eh.

Revenge of the sith was definatly the best one of the 3 newest. But the original ep 4 is the best. I also did enjoy episode 1 happy:

Only thing I liked about Episode I was darth maul and his fight scenes, but ya big improvement with yoda

dr nein 02-20-2006 12:29 AM

darth maul spawned like 7598128390 emo kid copycats

that's a no no

CoMaToSe 02-20-2006 01:42 AM

duel of the fates was the only good part about epI.
Ranked, the order of best to worst is:

Empire Strikes Back
Revenge of the Sith
A New Hope
Return of the Jedi
Attack of the Clones
The Phantom Menace

You are worse then those Trekkie freaks......

He looks high as fuck! I would smoke with Yoda biggrin:

I actually like Yoda's look in TPM. I thought he looked different because he was a bit younger. Meh...whatever.

I have all the movies on DVD now, so I won't buy any more versions.

well guys hes not done yet

[quote:19f9d]They have been "tweaked" more as well . . . and it isn't over yet. In 2007, to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the first film's release, an "Archive Edition" of all the films will be released again on DVD. So in regular George Lucas fashion, you will be expected to shell out even more big bucks to re-buy the same films . . . AGAIN. The original theatrical versions will not appear in this set either. The first three films at that point will be barely recognizable to anyone who saw the original theatrical versions when they were released as they are still in the process of "tweaking" the original trilogy to his Lucas-ness' specs. He was never happy with the original trilogy - and apparently still isn't.[/quote:19f9d]
