No, the truck comes before I even got into the church. Those bastards killed me at least six times before I figured out where they were coming from. Kill them first and then go into the church.

inside the church to the altar thing. the truck never came for me until i was up the hill and jerry was making out with the ground. then i hopped in the MG-42 and wasted those sobs

I lost him out of sight after i ran up to the last stronghold before the church and killed the truck

well then try that part again and dont run all the way up until you make sure that he is following you

YES!!!!!!!!!! i have finished the level, it turned out i ran too far ahead, but after i played it again, he could keep up with me.
