i agree with most of what you say ... honestly i get pissed off when i hear mac people bashing pcs. pcs crash more , virus issues , blah blah , is all horse shit for me. i cant even remember the last time my pc crashed or had a virus.

pcs crash and have viruses for people who dont have a fuking idea how to use them, and i can almost guaruntee they didnt put it together themselves.

my little mac can handle the shit outta some graphics tho.

i wasnt saying that i agree with the adverts, just that they are well done and make me lol. would they get me to go mac over pc, fuk no. do i think they make most people pick mac of pc, no. some , but probably only those who have no idea.

Well, actually - Yes...That is one of the reasons....I'm no fucking computer nerd and neither is the general population of EARTH, I've been using a PC since I was like 12 and I still feel like a fucking nubface when it comes to half of the shit required to know in order to get more use out of a PC than a Mac. There is a reason macs have become industry in the Design/Art industry, maybe its cause we're all morons, maybe it's because we all shit in each other's vaginas - I don't know....but I know it didn't just suddenly happen. They're easier to use for tech-retards like me, and that suits me better than a PC.

I don't know shit about the insides of computers, alls I know is what is user-friendly for me, and what isn't. Note the big fucking capitals on the "IMO" in my post. I generally bust those out when I feel as though it applies to me and maybe a lesser group of people. If I felt as though macs would be superior for everyone else to use, I'd have just left those off. nag:

Obviously I'm not going to throw my PC out the window, I love it. I love what I can do with it I'll always use it for gaming, internet browsing etc - But that doesn't change the fact that for my lifestyle, and the career I'm heading into Macs to me are the superior investment option over PC...There are other people like me. They aren't all morons who just don't know any better....They're people who have decided that the mac, for them, is the better option.
BTW - I'm not one of those mac fanbois that Jude described in his post....I have always owned PCs....and I'm ignorant of either machines technical/hardware superiority over the other.

the reason why there are so many virii out for the PC is because there is a larger user base. It would be kind of pointless for a "hacker" to write a virus for an OS that only a small amount of people use.

Personally I love Windows and everything it can do, but I also enjoy Linux. Its been years since i was on a Mac OS, so i dont know everything thats new to them, but i don't care, because they arent necessary for what I do.

edit: these commercials kind of piss me off, because if the user of a windows computer knows how to take care of it, it wont reboot, get a virus, etc. (all that has been mentioned already). My normal uptime is 1 week for my PC, and thats because i have to reboot it for installing/uininstalling programs/drivers/etc.

the commercials prey on the computer illiterate by offering a solution to problems that arise from their own stupidity and that they could solve for less money if they weren't so stupid in the first place. That's why I don't like them.

I do think they're kinda clever.
