Scion Tc is made by toyota and toyotas last a really long time.
My uncle used ot have a mazda 3 until a jeep tboned my aunt in it and totaled the car. Its built pretty sturdy, very fast even for a 4 cyl 4 dr sedan, and looks sexy imo. I would go with the Mazda 3 or Scion TC just because they are more youthful cars, reliable, and still fun. |
well since were on the subject of cars, has anyone seen the new dodge caliber? Its starting at like 13,000. Im thinking of getting one of em, sure beats the damn bus n shit

GM has made a 180 in the past 5 years, The impala itself took the best mid sized sedan segment of the market, while the cobalt SS is pure speed for the price + all creature comforts for alot less. |
How is the performance with the scion tc?
|
Civic: Bland, labeled as instant rice; even stock, every two blocks you'll see 3, good commuter car but not much for a driving enthusist.
Mazda 3: Good little car, looks ok and has some get up and go when you get on it. Stick is obviously prefered, though the auto does come with the "manual" mode; which has some slow smooth shifts. Scion TC: I know little about this car other than its a Toyota sub division and god damn can Toyota make a bullet proof engine. Looks sharp stock and has some neat little features to it, like the availible "all glass" roof. Camry: Unless your 30+ its not what your looking for unless you want a "boat" of a car. Well built and runs well but it is a fairly large FAMILY sedan. Honestly, i'd go for the Scion Tc. Granted i would test drive all of them before commiting to one. Also, if you feel none have the juice your looking for. Remember most have upgrade versions. I believe there is a MazdaSpeed version of the 3, and a Supercharger is availible for the Tc. Though it is aftermarket via TRD. |
make sure to lower it and put on underbody neons. Usually adds around 5 HP to the front wheels
|
if those are the cars you're looking at, why not give the VW GTi a look at? it has a sick transmission and its not under-powered by any means.
if you won't stray from those three id probably go with the tC or the Camry as I love the new camrys 260hp (right?) and they look like the new IS. |
out of those i'd go with the mazda.

TEST DRIVE MAN LOL !. I gaurentee the Cobalt (SS Version) will be the biggest blast to drive). I also beleive it is around 17 to 19k in the US depending on features. + You can score a used one for around 15k. (Still on warrenty ect ect ect. |
I've test drived all of the ones on my list..they all drive similar but camry feels the least fun to drive..next to civic. Haven't tried Cobalt, might try that, and maybe Jetta/Lancer/Eclipse/Altima..
