i still can't find anything about that touch ipod. Those pictures were on gizmodo before as rumors but no actual real advertisements. Gizomodo today highlighted the new apple stuff which was that TV media thing and then something about a next generation ipod nano.

it was 140 on sale for 130, I had 10% off then a 100 dollar bestbuy giftcard so I got it for 20 bucks with tax its only 2 meg, but its expandable and I just recycle music in and out when I need. if the battery dies you can buy a new one from them from 20 bucks and replace it. I play 8 hours of music and kill about 1/4 of the battery |
was looking at that one ... its a pretty sharp player.
: unless you plan to store your whole mp3 collection on the thing i dont see why youd want one over 2/4 gigs. ive never filled my 4 gig one up, ever. 30 gig might be nice since you "could" store a shitload on it at a time and shuffle. it starts being a real pain in the ass rotating and deciding what you want to put on it. |

biggest pain in the ass was editing the tags on all my music so it shows correctly and then I got the album art to show up. I also figured out how to upload playlists and then it auto dl's the music on that playlist for me the screen on it is pretty damn 1337 too. |
that flip ipod phone looks pretty sweet, i would get it.

I spotted this on the BBC News website...
[quote:b39e2] In September 1956 IBM shipped the 305 RAMAC, the first computer with a hard disk drive (HDD). The HDD weighed over a ton and stored 5MB of data.[/quote:b39e2] |
Re: Technology has come pretty damn far in the past 50 year

But seriously though... we're nearing the Singularity: I wouldn't be surprised if it happened in our lifetime. If it doesn't, we're missing it by a few years at MOST. |
