The real joke about the ps3 is the majority of the cost seems to be on an optical drive format that wasn't really needed "blu-ray". Even the graphics of the ps3 aren't anything special, its a downclocked geforce 7800gtx ffs. At least wit the 360 you're getting a graphics solution that is the first of its kind, and not some old cut down pc graphics core.

As for blu-ray..they've so far got it upto 200gigs. Yup tons of games are gonna make use of that. Regular dvd's are more than enough for games imo.

Coma, shooting themselves in the foot? Yeah, that's why (as Pyro said) Sony has had the better overal system for the last two generations.

Pyro, perfect record? I recall many people having hardware problems with their PS2s. And naturally, it's online features were total shit compared to those of the X-Box.

I meant in regards to the PS3. There seem to have been quite a few misteps for them here.

I don't care they can have all the problems in the world...my PS1 never fucked up and niether has my PS2

only time i ever saw a problem EVER with a system...was my friends xbox.

Nintendo was also up 2-0 with the most popular system, nes then snes, in fact theyre the only other company thats had 2 big hit home consoles in a row, no company has had 3 yet, and with the competition the ps3 has, sony aren't gonna acheive it either.
