Wow. I've never seen that translation. The 10th and 11th verses of Matthew in mine say:

10. and to Hezekiah was born Manasseh; and to Manasseh, Amon; and to Amon, Josiah;

11. and to Josiah were born Jeconiah and his brothers, at the time of the deportation to Babylon.


But I usually just skim over the "so-and-so gave birth to so-and-so" verses.

You must not have the King James version, then. heh heh
