man i miss techtv. g4 or whatever was shit, and now it's hitting a new low; i turned it on and they were giving dating advice? wtf

lol AOTS is the only show I watch on there you cought there 5 minutes sex discussion part, an occasional xplay but they dont have any type of show like screensavers Leo and Pat > *

Leo does basically the same show in toronto now for g4 canada. thats the only good show on that channel though. then they play x-play for 2 straight hours.[/quote:d88b6]

These are the roads I was talking about... everyday we'd spend atleast half an hour going to and from home just twisting and turning in these roads.

Beautiful views (I love California, and not this southern california laguna beach oc crap, but real California far outside long beach), but I was pretty fucking scared at times (being 5) that we'd slip right off.[/quote:0c205]

What's so bad about those roads?

Doctor Duffy 12-03-2006 02:58 PM

There's nothing "bad". It's not like they're notorious... I just found the article interesting b/c I used to live there.

That picture is probably the best I could find though, much of the mountains dont have blockades to keep you from falling off, and when you're going downhill at nighttime where the roads will turn totally out the blue it can get pretty scary.

I really hope they find him, I didnt read anywhere what happened to them to begin with.

CoMaToSe 12-04-2006 11:10 PM

well thats good news dance:

Coleman 12-04-2006 11:38 PM

it doesn't seem too positive. Things get really cold at night and obviously he's spending more and more time without food and water. cry:

holy crap, I saw something about this story a while ago, but it wasn't until now that I realized it was the gadget guy from TechTV...

I hope they find him, it would really suck if he died going for help to save his family when he could have been rescued with them if he had just stayed put...tragic irony

tomxtr 12-06-2006 02:45 PM

whats worse is him not knowing his family is safe, his last thoughts as he froze to death were probably thinking his family were going to suffer the same.

bless his family.
