BCS is terrible. Michigan is a much better team then Florida. It's crazy how Michigan doesn't lose yet still drops twice after the OSU vs. Michigan game.

well I can see the arguement for both sides. I think all of you know who I wanted to be #2, Michigan got hosed but I am proud that they (The Michigan coaches and staff) didnt campain for the 2nd spot. I think it is classless to cry for a slot. It looks like whining can get you to #2. Florida is a good team but IMHO Michigan has a better chance of winning against OSU. All the team can do is go out and win the Rose Bowl, no sense cryibg over spilled milk.

The system is impeccable. oOo:[/quote:180a6] LOL, a MUCH easier opponent. I hate Chokelahoma for all they're worth, but I will be pulling for them in the Fiesta Bowl to beat the fucking shit out of that faggot team from Idaho. |
Why isn't this in the college football thread...? eek:

ya, stupid idiot who created this thread must have forgotten rolleyes:

I don't think you can say that Michigan is a better team than Florida. The only way you could really say that is after a game between the two.
It comes down to two things for me: -Florida has beaten better teams than Michigan -Florida is the champion of their conference (arguably the best conference) and Michigan is not. |
Florida deserved it more than Michigan
Michigan will never see the big game again. |
My idea to fix the BCS and all it's problems...
Take the top two teams from every BCS conference (eventually this will change if the shittier conferences want to have recognition). That's 16 teams. You know what you have with 16 teams? An enjoyable tournament.... All the non-playoff teams can be in those shitty Humanitarian and Insight.com bowls. And for the top bowls (fiesta, orange, etc.), those can switch off in the championship game every year, while the other three can be like final four bowls or something (i don't know what will happen with the odd bowl out). |

while Fla did have the #1 hardest schedule, Michigan had the #3. They did have one common opponent though. It was Vanderbilt, Fla won 25 to 19 while Michigan won 27 to 7 Fla will get thier asses handed to them Michigan is not the Big Ten champs only because the #1 team in the nation is in the same conference |

Bringing up a common team and deriving something from the scores they put up is nonsense. Everyone knows that sports don't follow logical, mathematical properties, it means nothing. I'm an unbiased person, I wanted Michigan to go at first, but by the end of the season, I think Florida deserves it more and I think it will be a very exciting game. I wouldn't be so sure of Florida getting their asses handed to them either... |

As a Nebraska fan I root for Oklahoma every game they aren't playing the Huskers. I love seeing both teams doing well. Maybe it's my way of holding on to my beloved power option. :( Just out of curiosity, why do you hate Oklahoma? |
