It is a sweet tv and I'm very happy with it. I can hookup up my laptop to it through the vga and it looks amazing. I played CoD on it with no lag whatsoever because of the 8ms response time. Make sure to get any cables (hdmi, component, optical audio) through ebay and not best buy (or the equivalent in Ireland). It can save you big money. sorry milla. cry: This model has a 6000:1 contrast ratio and 1080i/p, picture in picture, etc. It also has a gaming mode though I have never used it because I don't have have a gaming console. I also bought a logitech harmoy 520 remote to control my tv, hd cable box, and bose home theater/dvd unit. One word of caution, the speakers suck but it does have an internal mute feature which I enable because I use my surround sound. It is going for $2,200+ in the states, but I got mine through my girlfriend's brother for $1,600 out the door. biggrin: Like Milla said, Pioneer seems to be the best going right now but way overpriced. Sony and Samsung are the next best with Samsung edging out on price. Fuck, sorry for such a long post. |
If you want to vomit at price tags, go to a Best Buy that has a Magnolia Home Theater dept. set up. Look at surround sound prices and the TVs in there. Amazing tvs but expensive like you have never seen.
