I totally agree. I had a great time Saturday morning playing with just a couple guys, 2 on 2, we used tactics to win and it was such a better game. After about 40 minutes a ton of people jumped on the same server and it went to hell.... idiots running around shooting anything and everything. I would HOPE that if most people tried organized play they'd realize how much cooler it is. Even when you don't know the other guys on your team you feel like you let them down when you get killed. Haven't joined a clan, not sure I want to, but the 'team' aspect makes it a whole new game. The run and shoot is Ok, but even then I prefer to slink along and KILL more guys than KILL me! That's what it should be about.

Learning how the other members of your squad work is essential. Teamwork is a must in =KaoS= and to accomplish this we think up strategies and mark up maps ( http://geocities.com/deserteaglekaos ) . We use chat programs such as Roger Wilco and coordinate attacks and defense positions. For example we faced a squad in a scrim and lost horribly, then last night we faced them again but this time used a lot of team chat to help each other out. we ended up almost tying them this time. IMO this is a big step that you can only accomplish with organized teamwork. About the ages in our squad; I am 19 and the youngest and most other members are in their 30's. It's not about how old you are, it's about how dedicated you are to teamwork. And that leads to victory at the end of the day.
