No, acctually I heard of Hitler along time ago. Because I was there you wernt. When I said I just heard of Hitler that was right before I was just going into war. I was on the 2nd Rangers. You wern't there, you have no respect for what we had to go through. But respect most those who died, those who were wonded. When I said respect live, respect life because when you are in war you wish you where dead.

My grandpa was a german pinoeer in WWII, first in Norway, later in russia.. he was lucky, he didnt had many combat situations to face. perhpas yes, but he dont tells about this, he told me of many terrible things done especially by SS soldiers... I have all the respect for the GERMAN ARMY and everyone who fought for thier country. Some germans I would like to see burn in hell would be the SS and the people who participated in the Holocaust... I dont care what thier excuse is... but killing millions of Men, Woman, and children is not right, I dont give a shit what the reason is. I can remember one thing my grandfather told me when I talked to him about the war in the pacific... He fought along side with a Australian soldier and later became good friends, stayed in contact and were still friends after the war... pvt kolbe with respect are you saying that you fought in ww2?
Ive never fought in war although many of my family members on both sides of my family have fought in both world wars, and I hope I never have to. I used to think that all Germans were nazis and terrible people. But one thing I have learnt is that they all arent. No matter what uniform or country you fight for when you fight on a battlefield against an enemy, there is no politics or morals its simply one of "honour", comradeship and ultimately survival. All soldiers on all sides deserve respect, alive or dead. Yes I am too sick of people labeling people as nazis etc. |
hell some of my grandfather's brothers were in the regular wehrmacht. it doesnt mean i dont respect them. its like walking in on your best friend with your girl, it doesnt mean you cant respect your friend 50 years later. not that thats ever happened to me....... sob

Kolbe: You fought in WW2? How old are you, 15? I know several people who fought in WW2, including my grandfather and his brother, and none of them ever talked or wrote like a 15 yr old.
