it has everything to do with torque vs horse power, and nothing to do with being in "BOOST" range, Turbo lag is almost non existent nowadays anyways, most turbo's spool up next to instantly.... In fact a Turbo car would have closer torque to HP numbers making it better from a dig then it would be if it was N/A

My WRX is actually pretty quick into getting into boost, not to much lag unless i start in 2nd gear or really fucking bog my launch and i mean really bog it. I fucking smoked the tits off this 03 Mustang GT who was trying to get cute with me. I hate those cars. Only Mustang I like is the 05+

This has everything to do with engine size vs turbo size. Turbo lag does exsist in todays turbos. I dont know about millas WRX, but its noticable when my turbo hits its sweet spot, it is not instant from a standing start. Also, mustangs are fun to pick on because they think "its a v8, its fast" and its not. Its even funner with the guys with the V6's, why, why would you even try with those peices of shit.

LOL Misc, i so totally agree, those 03 style GT owners and the V6 ones are even funnier, they think they are picking on me, until i just ease on the gas and walk away.

My car off the line with a no launch just normal driving its using all torque until the turbo spools up but when the boost hits in the low 3 grand it is like an instantaneous boost like a rocket. You can defiantly tell when i hit boost in 1st gear

well of course, your not going to see a go kart spooling up a t3/t4 anytime soon, Even on a b16, on a honda you will see the thing spool up relatively quickly, I know on the 2.4TC from GM that they start to spool around 2k.
