You just have to use the right adhesive, I'd suggest using gum, it peels away no hassle, and you can push it to the edge of a piece of paper. Ive done a few stencils before, clean lines arent a problem if you use the right technique.
...but if your way is working fine for you - then theres no point in changing it...lulz |

not bad for my first one. it looks like the paint is worn in the middle, but thats just the lighting. also, its not on hardboard, its just on a canvas panel. i got some more ideas and more material, hopefully i will do more soon. hopefully some of you know what it is. |
