Rockstar have said that a pc version is not in the works. More than likely though thats total bullshit to make people think their only way of playing it is to get a console version. Id be suprised if the pc version wasn't hitting shelves before the end of the year, usually it comes 6-8 months or so after the console versions.

Used to be released alongside them (for the original games back in the day) but apparently we have to play second fiddle to consoles now because "theres more money in consoles", never mind the fact the games already been dloaded thousands of times before its even on store shelves.

Wonder what excuse theyre gonna pull out when they realise these days console piracy is probably just as high as pc piracy. "angryfire"

That is pretty bad and really obvious, reminds me of playing saints row, you could be playing and huge chunks of the road and background would appear and disappear.

If thats an isolated incident though not so bad, could be a worst case scenario.

I havent seen any of that shit. Something tells me thats a bunch of haters hatchet-jobbing that. Seriously, if you see any pop-up in this game, you're actively looking for it. 18HRS in and I haven't seen anything that even comes close to that.

Really, once you get to the second island, and see Star Junction in the rain and a thunderstorm - you appreciate just what next-gen sandbox games are SUPPOSED to look like (fucking CRACKDOWN).

Seriously that screen has to be like an early beta bullshit or something. The only weird graphical bullshit I've seen is one character model (I think you'll see it when you get to him) looks like something between PS2 and PS3 - its hella weird and you can almost tell all his polygons aren't there. It comes during a story mission, and the guy looks very angular compared to everyone else.

Oh and really - this game is fucking ridiculous. Something I have noticed though, is that some of that characters "move" like they do in old GTA's. Like the same kind of getting into the car animation or how they move when a car door is locked (of course now Niko just kicks, elbows or smashes it in with a gun). But really, if anyone is complaining about this game they are doing so only because they want to be fucking contrary. I can not wait to play multiplayer in this shit. Some of these areas are designed with the care that you might see in a COD or HALO (no fuck HALO) map. Yusif's construction site for instance is going to be a major battlezone I'm thinking.

Word of advice thats not a spoiler, do Playboy X's first mission AS SOON as you get it. Make your life easier.

Im stopping by Gamestop after work to meet up with friends for the midnight release :D

Looks like half the uk and europe has snagged it. No fucking way am i freezing my balls off with that midnight shit.

ANDSV2 for anyone who has it and wants to go nuts.

Any other opinions? Im seeing complaints on hardocp forums that the game is hard on the eyes when upscaled to 1920x1080. Also complaints about the depth of field effect reducing buildings to giant blocks in the background.

Not got it yet so i dunno how much of a problem this is.

looks like a load of people are having issues with the game locking up, on 360 and ps3.
