All maxed at 1024/768 runs fine for me at 70-100 fps. I never try higher resolutions though cause I only have a 17" viewable flat panel. Anyone ever use better resolutions without problems?

P4 2.0
512 Rdram
Nvidia Gforce 3 (the original Ti)
blah blah...still making payments

BTW...LOL funny stuff Ydiss.

mizat0 03-01-2002 04:05 AM

i play in most games with my ping of around 9-40
game runs at 15-30 fps outdoors and like 25-50 indoors.

I have a Celeron II 950 (not O/C), with 384 MB RAM, and a GeForce3 Ti200 with 64 MB DDR RAM. ATA 100 Hard Drives, and I still get not good FPS at times. 1024 X 768 resolution. I am going to get a 1200 MHz CPU.

03-01-2002 06:08 AM

Thats because you have a Celeron.
That processor summarizes everything that has gone wrong with Intel's product line in the past few years.. They tried to create a budget, affordable chip, and they succeeded wonderfully. But its just that; a budget chip.

sk8save1 03-01-2002 06:14 AM

I have:

Athlon 650
768 MB PC133
GF3 Ti 200
Win98 SE

Always between 30-60 fps (including playing online)

I have a Commodore 16k with tape player and 5 1/4 inch floppy drive. I had some trouble inserting the CD into the floppy drive, but a little grease soon eased the baby in.

After that I found some difficulty in booting the computer up.

I found if I took a picture of Medal of Honor from my games magazine and cellotaped it to my black and white TV I could at least relive the feel of the war for a few seconds at a time.

What I hate about the game is rocket lamers and shotgun users, 'cos they slow my frame rate down from 0 fps to -5 fps.

Playing MoH with the z x keys and space bar is tough, I can tell you.

For some reason it kept asking me to 'Remove the tape and turn it over to side 2' everytime I changed weapons.

I put my Green Day tape into the tape player and pressed return and it started to smoke a little bit.

Does anyone think I need to upgrade? I was thinking of splashing out on a Commodore 64k.

I don't want to go too crazy, though.

for the minimal resultes you will get from overclocking, coupled with the risk of damage to you unit.in my opinion it isnt worth it......by the way im running an p3 866 with a g-force2 64 gts 256mb with dsl, and i can host about 10 player alright http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/smile.gif

CrispybunkerRPG 03-01-2002 10:40 AM

Ribbs I got the same advice from my roomate. I guess I won't if it will fry my chip.
