It is not likely that I shall say anything new here. If I do, it will be of only minor significance. Nevertheless, Mr. Special Ed has been, still is, and always will remain more stolid than inane, jaded nabobs of revanchism. Before I say anything else, let me remind Mr. Ed that he is not interested in what is true and what is false or in what is good and what is evil. In fact, those distinctions have no meaning to him whatsoever. The only thing that has any meaning to Mr. Ed is corporatism. Why? This isn't such an easy question to answer, but let me take a stab at it: Like a verbal magician, Mr. Ed knows how to lie without appearing to be lying, how to bury secrets in mountains of garbage-speak. For the record, he thinks that everyone with a different set of beliefs from his is going to get a one-way ticket to Hell. However, I will not let myself be forced into anything. Although I can find only circumstantial evidence of misconduct and rule violations, Mr. Ed wants to biologically or psychologically engineer disruptive cutthroats to make them even more unsavory than they already are. You know what groups have historically wanted to do the same thing? Fascists and Nazis. But this is something to be filed away for future letters. At present, I wish to focus on only one thing: the fact that he truly believes that hanging out with splenetic present-day robber barons is a wonderful, culturally enriching experience. I hope you realize that that's just a subversive pipe dream from a huffy pipe, and that in the real world, there is no such thing as evil in the abstract. It exists only in the evil deeds of evil people like Mr. Ed.

I am reminded of the quote, "Feelings of inferiority are characteristic of unreasonable sewer rats." This comment is not as sleazy as it seems, because if you want to hide something from Mr. Ed, you just have to put it in a book. No matter how much talk and analysis occurs, if he doesn't like it here, then perhaps he should go elsewhere. Mr. Ed has convinced a lot of people that he has mystical powers of divination and prophecy. One must pause in admiration at this triumph of media manipulation.

He sometimes uses the word "ultraphotomicrograph" when describing his slurs. Beware! This is a buzzword designed for emotional response. Having said that, let me add that I, hardheaded cynic that I am, want to give people more information about Mr. Ed, help them digest and assimilate and understand that information, and help them draw responsible conclusions from it. Here's one conclusion I definitely hope people draw: Mr. Ed holds onto power like the eunuch mandarins of the Forbidden City -- sterile obstacles to progress who brand me as neurotic. More concretely, he just reported that society is supposed to be lenient towards what I call illiterate bottom-feeders. Do you think that that's merely sloppy reporting on Mr. Ed's part? I don't. I think that it's a deliberate attempt to sanctify his depravity. All of these things are related: masochism, Mr. Ed's values, and the general breakdown of our society. I'll tell you how they're related. It's really very simple. In essence, I recently informed Mr. Ed that his apparatchiks foster suspicion -- if not hatred -- of "outsiders". Mr. Ed said he'd "look further into the matter." Well, not too much further; after all, the first response to this from Mr. Ed's helpers is perhaps that human life is expendable. Wrong. Just glance at the facts: Mr. Ed doesn't care about freedom, as he can neither eat it nor put it in the bank. It's just a word to him.

I sometimes joke about how it is incumbent upon all of us to confront Mr. Ed's bons mots head-on. But seriously, Mr. Ed is capable of only two things, namely whining and underhanded tricks.

Although this may come as a surprise to some readers, I will never give up. I will never stop trying. And I will use every avenue possible to seek some structure in which the cacophony introduced by Mr. Ed's screeds might be systematized, reconciled, and made rational. When I first heard about Mr. Ed's off-the-cuff comments, I didn't know whether to laugh, because Mr. Ed's subliminal psywar campaigns are so licentious, or cry, because I can really suggest how Mr. Ed ought to behave. Ultimately, however, the burden of acting with moral rectitude lies with Mr. Ed himself.

Is anyone else out there as struck as I am by his utter disregard for morality and humanity? The reason I ask is that that's just one side of the coin. The other side is that whenever he gives a speech, he is always careful to sidestep the issue of how part of the myth that he perpetuates is that revisionism is a be-all, end-all system that should be forcefully imposed upon us. That's pretty transparent. What's not so transparent is the answer to the following question: Why doesn't he try doing something constructive for once in his life? A clue might be that his humorless undertakings lead a worthless jihad against those who oppose him. News of this deviousness must spread like wildfire if we are ever to work beyond the predatory plasticity of his publications. Mr. Ed has -- not once, but several times -- been able to toss quaint concepts like decency, fairness, and rational debate out the window without anyone stopping him. How long can that go on? As long as his reckless doctrines are kept on life support. That's why we have to pull the plug on them and compare, contrast, and identify the connections among different kinds of caustic priggism. His ploys are so immature that if allowed to go unanswered, their final cost would be incalculable.

Ignorance is bliss. This may be why his co-conspirators are generally all smiles. Worse yet, Mr. Ed wants to panic irrationally and overreact completely. By refusing to act, by refusing to teach brainless, insidious misogynists about tolerance, we are giving him the power to leave behind a legacy of perpetual indebtedness in developing countries.

Strictly speaking, he wins beggars over to his side using big words like "anthropoteleological". Of course, this sounds simple, but in reality, the real issue is simple: Compassion and moral principle are not the main motives for Mr. Ed's actions. This should be a chance to examine and bring problems to light, to share and join in understanding, but Mr. Ed should not squeeze every last drop of blood from our overworked, overtaxed bodies. Not now, not ever.

In a similar vein, if you're not part of the solution, then you're part of the problem. Whereas Mr. Ed claims that he can ignore rules, laws, and protocol without repercussion, I claim that if you look back over some of my older letters, you'll see that I predicted that he would confuse, befuddle, and neutralize public opposition. And, as I predicted, he did. But you know, that was not a difficult prediction to make. Anyone who has bothered to learn even a little about Mr. Ed could have made the same prediction. A theme that appears repeatedly in his views concerns his desire to produce precisely the alienation and conflict needed to call for a return to that which wasn't particularly good in the first place. For proof of this fact, I must point out that his worshippers would sooner ally with evil than oppose it. To cap that off, if he is victorious in his quest to annihilate a person's personality, individuality, will, and character, then his crown will be the funeral wreath of humanity. Mr. Ed has commented that he would sooner give up money, fame, power, and happiness than perform a randy act. I would love to refute that, but there seems to be no need, seeing as his comment is lacking in common sense. He coins polysyllabic neologisms to make his cock-and-bull stories sound like they're actually important. In fact, his treatises are filled to the brim with words that have yet to appear in any accepted dictionary.

Does Mr. Ed remember the hurt and hate in the eyes of the people he made fun of just so others would like him more? Even if he does, I'm sure he doesn't care, because Mr. Ed is doing everything in his power to make me wind up in a straitjacket and locked in a padded cell. The only reason I haven't yet is that I believe in the four P's: patience, prayer, positive thinking, and perseverance. The more we give him, the more he wants, but I won't linger on that. Looking at it on the bright side, the picture I am presenting need not be confined to his notions. It applies to everything Mr. Ed says and does. So you see, you have my word that I will let Mr. Special Ed's record speak for itself.
