As for taking a pic of your desktop:

1. Press printscreen.
2. Paste into a graphics program, Paint shop pro, photoshop, or MSpaint.
3. Attempt to resize it so its more forum friendly.
4. Save as JPEG, ignore warnings of color loss and so forth.
5. Host the image on the web i think Dk666 allows his server for this as well.

6. Copy the URL for the image location
7. Paste the URL on the board and slap an IMG tag on it.
8. Cross fingers.
9. Mail $10.83 to Miscguy PM for address where money can be sent.

After i receive your money the image should work.

ninty9...i'm the only one who uses my computer so i can see your point with all those shortcuts.
Just curious though, what is your system resources after start up?

As far as bootup times, i know for sure all those shortcuts slow things down a bit.

Am i the only one who feels this way about shortcuts??

I'm at work so I can't get a screenshot of my desktop right now. I wanted to say, though, shortcuts and wallpaper do take system resources to have. The more shortcuts the more resources. Granted it really shouldn't effect your system a whole lot it's still good to keep it in mind.

And don't forget the Windows sounds and things like drop shadows and such. Those things sit in system memory as well.

yes it is. too naughty to make it any bigger. if you want to speed things up jus 'control, alt, delete' and see which progs u got running. search for 'msconfig' on your comp and go to startup-carefully untick the programs that are pretty useless to you, it speeds startup etc, loads.not having a background pic with active desktop turned off also helps a bit, u all know these but it does help. espesh if u got a bit of slug pc like moi
