All you've seen of Xbox is videos and pics but you still say it sucks. Xbox is more powerful a system then PS2 by FAR however the controller sucks and the support will start a little weak. I don't have time to say all the things i wanted to but later i will talk about it all.

Xbox is more powerful statistically in every area of review than the PS2 is, therefore game developers will realize it's full potential when PS2 stops living up to it's (which is occuring right now). So, more developers will hop onto the Xbox bandwagon and start producing more games for it. However, as far as MOH:AA is concerned, Microsoft currently refuses to release a keyboard and mouse peripheral for the system stating that it's reasons are to prove that it's not just a lil' PC like everyone says it is. It's splitting it's PC roots by saying this, but later one may come out when the realization becomes that FPS games suck with control pads. However you may want to consider that once the Xbox is released, Sony will drop prices of PS2 to $230, making it less expensive than the $300 retail Xbox when it's released on November 8, just 3 days after the release of Public Enemy number 1... GameCube. That decisioin for a November 5th release was made after the announced Nov. 8 release from microsoft, and GameCube will retail at $200 making it the least expensive next gen system aside from the Dreamcast. PS2 does have a keyboard and mouse peripheral in the works, and will go online before the Xbox does, however MOH:AA is not currently planned for a release on PS2 so this won't be of much use to you. The Xbox is faster and more powerful if that turns you on however, and as I said before, the developers will realize this. As far as bugs go, yes there still are some but it's not out yet so it's not fair to judge off that... they have until November to clear that up so it's idiotic to say that Xbox is buggy before it's even out. PS2 is lacking in visual quality and fulfilling potential of game designers. Xbox is planning 9 launch titles however some are being rushed. PS2 had a grand total of 29 titles to launch on release, and GameCube will plan a measely 5 launch titles. However, think back to the release of PS2... those games were not that great at the time, and still aren't... and for a system to come along with a clean slate and compete with the PS2 is excellent. So... my stance on the matter is to wait and see what the developers do, you'll see an upward trend in the quality of games, either that or a complete failing of Xbox will take place.

PS2=best right now, for a combination of graphics and games. X Box has no 'classic' popular games. for instance, PS classics, Tekkan, Syphon Filter, etc.

Gamecube: Better than PS2 in graphics, and will ALSO have the back-up of classic games.

plus almost every review i see by experts says that the Gamecube is the one to get.

The playstation 2 "could" be a great system, but it will remain a "good" system instead for 2 big reasons:

- lacking RAM and,
- the emotion engine is a BITCH to code for, however if the programmers take the time to learn how it works and code properly, you can see games like GT3 and MGS2.

Don't kid yourself, the XBOX is just a computer system with an OS that plays games on-the-fly. The nice thing about it is microsoft is just buying the games left and right so they are proprietary to their system (ie. Munch's Odyssey) !

The Gabecube, if Nintendo permits it, could be a VERY powerful gaming machine. Just look at what Metroid, Zelda and Resident Evil look like ! Hopefully they won't fall into the trap of releasing too many kiddie games.

I still prefer my PC to *any* console system. Do I need to explain why ?

i agree with all that BUT, WTF do u mean 'alrite' graphics??? are u fraking blind? it will have the best of all 3 although the games are just PC converts. Gamecubes graphics and power are also better than PS2 and wil also have the benefit of classic games plus with the buying of Sega...

GameCube is not neccessarily the one to buy, it will have good graphics and fun games, but not as many options. and I dont know about u, but ive seen Xbox in action and i'd have to say i was much more impressed by Ps2's graphics.

Ok..Ps2 has better graphics, a few classic games will be coming like Final Fantasy's and Gran Turismo etc. And is capable of making all new classics with exceptional graphics (onimusha, Bouncer, Tales of the Ender). Ps2 will also have online gaming with games like Tony Hawk's 3, Phantasy Star Online, Red Faction, and Half-Life. Ps2 will also have add ons such as hard drive, keyboard etc.

Xbox: Has alrite graphics, is basically going to have PC games with a few games that Ps2 is going to have (Tony Hawks 3 etc.) online gaming included

Gamecube: Nintendo remake games (Metroid, Smash Bros., Mario, Zelda etc.) If u want good graphics and fun mplayer this is the system to get, mini DvD's and online gaming add-on...it will also be featuring Sonic Adventures since Sega has stop making systems and has just started selling its games and ideas (hence nintendo buying Sonic).

Over all Ps2 is the best, and behind it is Gamecube with good graphics and lots of fun. and Xbox with the same shit as Ps2 and PC only not as good, so theres no point in getting it (somehow no one gets that though.)

I'm not all that interested in the Xbox's or Gamecube's GFX or power, I don't play with consoles, I play the games that are on them. I have a PC and a PS2. The reason I got a PS2 is because of the games that are coming out for it, namely MGS2, GTA3, MoH: Frontline and MoH: Fighter Command. I will probably end up getting the Xbox and GC when there are enough games for the both of them that I can't live without. I say, play what you like and buy the console that has the games that you like to play. Remember, there only games.

But for Consoles u dont know what you're talking about! it's not like im impressed by Ps2's graphics as if im some idiot like "oooh! ahhhh!" i've seen the games, the quality and i know its better, You've Got online gaming, DvD, CD player, It plays PsX games...its like an entertainment system. it also has a 20 gig harddrive add on, Xbox is bullshit, its like a PC but worse, and if u have a PC, which all of you do, theres no point in getting Xbox, u mite as well get Ps2 so u can have Games, DVD Player, CD player and PsX games, plus the PC u already have. and GameCube doesnt have DvD, it has Mini-Dvd which is different, it just plays games on small DvDs, it doesnt play DvD movies or anything. but it does have excellent graphics and good games.

unlike the other console, you actually can waste your money on PS2, u get a CD Player, DvD Player, AND a game player )that plays awesome games that PC doesnt have). you'd get your moneys worth for sure, since the price of Ps2 is just about the price of a DvD player alone, only u can play music and games too.
