I use google to find all my pictures, but i am also wondering where he (and the others) get their pictures from.

its easy. all you have to do is know how to use layers and anyone on here could make a good sig im sure

when i try to add a second picture i always see the lines of the pics when i try the overlay oOo:

but maybe i have to read a tutorial about layers

nice wolfy, adobe is probably the easiest piece of kit about for layering, and blending, all i do is mess about to learn what things do.
