Hmmm
The swastika is a Buddhist symbol for peace, as it still appears nowadays on Buddhist temples in Asia.
A difference however can be noticed: the orientation of the arms is clockwise in the Buddhist swastika and anti-clockwise in the one adapted by the Nazis. |
*sigh* This smells like Uber-Political correctness again.
I don't condone Nazism, and i'd doubt that the people who do display Hitler or the Swastika believe in the Nazi Ideals. it's just some people getting into the spirit of a game they like. Jeez... I've got both Hitler and a Swastika in my sig, so I must be a 1337 Nazi!biggrin: |
im not a nazi nor do i suppost them i just run an axis clan, and before u go and bitch and moan about swastikas y dont u go learn about them instead. they were made in ancient times as a good symbol but hitler came with his fucked up ideas and fucked the swastika up. theres alot more too it but i dont feel like explaining. go read a book.

Why, what's your theroy on it then?

whoever said i had a theory? by simply reading his posts it seems obvious to me he's too immature to allow himself to think any differently because of reasoning.

Oh. I thought you were talking about me. n/m

I personally think that using the swastica is in poor taste, much like displaying the confederate flag. We get a bit desensetized to it here and it isnt a symbol that many of us can directly relate to, but it stands for bad things, so much so, that it is illegal to display it in Germany ( I think).
I also believe that freedom of speech should allow you to display either of the sysmbols lited above if you like. But it doesnt mean that everyone should have to agree with you displaying them. |
You're right about the Swastika being banned in Germany, Pest.
Heard that back in the days of playing Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines Ah, Fond memories angel: |
