	You should give the disk a format every once in a while for good measure. I believe that you can clean the registry as much as you want, but stuff still lays around in there that slows you down.  | 
		
 Here's what I would do: 
	1) Use Scandisk at startup to scan for bad sectors. 2) Defrag the drive 3) "cupcake" or get Norton Systemworks, and use CleanSweep.  |
