Navy Basic Training is 8 weeks long (10 weeks if your a dumbass like my brother)
You forgot the Coast Guard! Yea yea they fall under the Department of Transportation but they are still an armed service. They have a 8 week basic training course as well. |

My Basic Training was OSUT, which I forgot what it stands for, but it means that BT and AIT are mixed into one program, rather than 8 weeks of basic, then whatever weeks for your MOS. Mine was a total of 18 weeks for 19D, Calvary Scout. We trained alltogether; Regular army, Reserves, and Nat'l Guard.
