Stalingrad is a good movie since it goes by the point of view of the Germans in Russia. The movie is 90% action for you action buffs out there. But, it is all in German and Russian.

Oh and my favorites are...
The lobby scene from Matrix, SPR @ Omaha, Band of Brothers Episodes 6-8, Romeo Must Die ( Scene in the Garden with the Fire ). Those are all I can think of right now. biggrin: |

Apocolypse Now. The copter scene with Robert Duvall playing Lt. Col. Bill Killgore. When they blow up that village. Then it ends......"I love the smell of Napalm in the morning."

w00t chopper assault! too many movie battles to list. one I haven't seen here is the part in Kelly's Heroes where they run a whole convoy of vehicles through the kraut town right under their noses biggrin: also the battle in Green Berets where the firebase get's overrun and then the AC-47 comes in. and not really a movie but the episode in Blacksheep Squadon when the ground staff is almost overrun by the Jap Marines and Pappy and teh squadron fly back to turn the Japs into hamburger |
wow, those scneas are really boring, black sheep squadron? crap.
|
BLACK SHEEP SQUARDON!!!
I still watch that on the history channel ever once in awhile just because i love WW2 aviation. |

in that show there are no explosions in the air battles, only smoke, and when there are explosions, it's footage from ww2
|
considering they only had a TV show budget and no 21st century computer effects I think they did a good job
