No, watch the Anthology, he sure did say it, and whatever oOo: . I never said The Beatles discovered Hendrix, I said influenced, maybe you should learn how to read.

[/quote:40c13] you said invented. maybe you should leant to spell. [quote:40c13]Sorry to say, but his sounds came from The Beatles, you could say John Lennon invented Jimi Hendrix, his sounds came from The Beatles, download the song I Feel Fine, that sound. [/quote:40c13] there may be some influence, but inventing him is a whole lot different. i know my music history pal. and hendrix was around long before the beatles made it here so dont make it sound like with no beatles there would be no hendrix. plus you cant invent a person. |
Whatever. oOo:

Oh yeah HAHA very funny! I forgot to mention George Lynch. He's a jerk but he can play lightning fast and with a bit of emotion as well. I even like some of his current stuff. Not all of it but some of it!! BTW... Yngwie may be the one of, if not THE fastest guitarists around but he doesn't play with anything close to "emotion". At least EVH played with feeling. Also Zakk Wylde plays with a lot of emotion. He's technically very good but I heard he's the biggest asshole! Mark Knopfler is a superb guitarist and I also like Steve Vai. |
Voodoo Child(Hendrix cover) by Stevie Ray Vaughn.
|
your all forgetting a kickass guitarist who goes by the name of dimebag darrell from pantera, that guy is awesome, he got banned from guitar competitions as a youngster cos he was too good lol anyway i dunno what my favorite solo is probably bad horsie or speed by steve vai.

"What it is" by Mark Knopfler, Is one of the best songs hes done, post Dire straits imo.

Hmmm. Im not a guitar player I am a drummer but a good solo would have to be practically All by BLACK SABBATH and not after ozz left the orignal line up Man that line up OWNED! I can tell u the best drum solo ive seen in a while would be Tony Royster Jr. when he was 12(he is 18 now)
If u use kazaa type in "AMAZING drum Solo by Tony Royster Jr." its the one im tlaking about this kid is awsome for 12 Thinking of it the solo in Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix |
[quote="Uber_Soldat":e2db8]my favourite guitarist is randy rhoads tho. the mr crowly solo and outro is one of the best ive ever heard. [/quote:e2db8]
Ooh. I wanna change my vote to "Mr. Crowley". How did I forget THAT one?!!? Randy Rhoads kicked some serious ass in his short life. He was taken way too early. ...and yes, Maiden solos fawking rock too. biggrin: |
