The problem if you ask me is that how he explains it is not how the picture is. He says the blood does not drip, well how is it able to drip down through the cracks in the rock? it just appears, magically perfectly aligned?

What do you mean manny? I created this program for a bunch of amateurs who have started a business call VGI (Virtual Games Incorperated) and are making a game for the first time. They want blood but don't want to take the time to make a program for it. So, for 150 bucks, I did it for them.

Guys don't you see? I used to take screenshots of Rainbow six and add blood, but this is fake. Look how the blood drips, you can tell he was trying to get it in the cracks. I'm not 100 percent sure, but if he can create something that fits perfectly with the crack like that then, he should be making graphics for all kinds of games. Like the otherguy I'll believe it when I see it.

Actually I work for Mod Central which specializes mainly in Half life and tribes 2. I am the blood developer. I was a sniper in Desert Storm so I have a pretty good idea what blood should look like. I did this mod as fast as I could just so I could make a little money on the side.

Hey if that picture wasn't done in photoshop, or some other way to fool us into thinking you really did that then I say it ain't that bad, its a blood mod what more you want? The best you can go is being the best blood mod out. L8r.

And what has Afghanistan to do with that?
If you create blood using MoH that involes models, you automatically take some of the Quake III Source code and sell it, which is illegal and can get that company in big trouble.

that pic that was posted is probably the mod in it's very early stages anyways. And this is why he didn't want to release screen shots cuz once he did, all he would get is accusations that it's false. Just give this guy a break, not like it was his duty to make this thing. Just give him a break!

The Opacity on the blood is 100% lol...wow use color burn next time, it will make it look "more" real. An oh yea, u now the ROCK, the place on teh rock that contains the blood is about ONE or Two polygons...so its impossible for the blood to travel down the "cracks" (tho they DONT exist). The cracks r painted on a specific polygon or face on the rock so that basically there is no cracks, but the blood is flowing down the cracks.....Next time, think a bit before u use ur paint program to fool people!

The only way you will get people to believe you is to release it. I could tell from the start of reading this it was fake. I said to myself, "He'll make up some excuse why he can't release it." And don't you know it, he made up an excuse not to release it. That is the worst story/lie I have ever heard. If you wanted attention so much, why don't you just jump off a building. You'll make the news for that.

Like I said. I didn't take this program off of the Quake III engine. I programmed it myself to be compattable with the engine. The blood splatters on the wall are random. As are the pools of blood. And also, I wasn't just doing this for money, I did do it for the fun, then VGI saw it and was willing to pay for it. Hey, I'm a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps. While visiting a boot camp on Ellis Isle. some dumbass recruit was kinda off on his aim with the mortar launcher, so I dove for cover and broke my leg. I'm on sick leave right now and have alot of time on my hands. And a Captains pay aint exactly that high.

Hawkeye, if you want people off your back, just release the fucking mod to someone to have a test. And it don't matter how old or what he does, if he can program a good blood mod, it don't matter.

Release the beta to someone, or we won't shutup about how it's a fake. (Which most people are leaning towards.)

What program did u use to do such animating as the bullet going through his head and to the wall and what not? I am a computer graphics major and was just curious how u could get into a game and do your own animations. Thanks.

Umm...I got ahold of the mod also, and I'm sorry to tell you all but it's really corny.

I've got a closer screenshot of a dead Nazi, and heh, DsturbD managed to hide something from you guys..

By looking at this screenshot here, if you look really closely at the pool of blood, you'll notice that Hawkeye put little hidden messages inside, thus giving it a really unnatural and unrealistic effect.
