saw it yesterday
|
i went in the theater and took a dump, then left
|
I personally thought the movie was dumb. The irrelevant Sex scene mixed in with the corny dancing. I threw up. Then joined in on the corny dancing. But still, threw up.
|
Loved it. fire2: zooka: M16: cool:
|
I saw it last night.... awesome, awesome fighting scenes,, the highway scene was fuckin incredible, my god, it was fockin awesome.
|
They also already have bootlegs on the street
But with the sex scene, how long is it and how "revealing" is it? |
SAw it last night. 11pm showing. Went to 1:15. If you didnt stay through the credits, the nyou lost out on scenes from the next movie which looks awsome. I thought the sex scene was stupid but hte whole rave party wiht 1/4 million people. that was awsome. THE whole movie was AWSOME

So I'm guessing not a single person stayed through the credits to see the trailor for Revolutions? n00bs.
Zion is definitely not destroyed yet. They show clips of battle scenes. With those mech things. Smith has cloned himself what looks like at least 5,000 times over, and he and Neo enter into what will undoubtedly be a climactic fight scene. The voice of the Oracle is heard saying "If you don't stop him, I fear that tomorrow will never come." The man posessed by Smith is shown fighting Morpheus inside what appears to be a ship in the real world. I can't remember much else from it. I'm torn on the double-Matrix theory. Perhaps if they want to go for the easy twist, that will be the scenario. But I think the Wachowski brothers are more intelligent than that, and will go for something other than the obvious psychologically-frustrating-because-it's-so-simple-twist. The only reason I can't be decisive is that I can't figure out how to explain Neo being able to "feel" the machines and then subsequently cause a reaction. I didn't really see him "fire" and EMP pulse at anyone. It looked to me like he held up his hand the the machines stopped and shorted out. If it were an EMP pulse, the machines would have just dropped dead like in the first one. I think a plausible, alternate explanation would be that his experiences in the Matrix somehow allowed him to tap part of his mind (remember, humans only harness 9~11% of their brain capacity) that facilitated this sort of thing. But then there were the dreams, where he saw precisely what would happen. So unless he became psychic, that could be an argument for the double-Matrix theory Solidus put forth vis a vie the controllers of the Matrix (or perhaps a rogue program) planted these images in Neo's head in the "outer" Matrix. The bottom line is, there simply isn't enough information to make a conclusive statement on where the next movie will go. Also, I hope the brief outline of the trailor for Revolutions clears up a bunch of the crazy things tossed about in this thread. I just hope they didn't go with a double-Matrix style twist. The cheesiness of that would completely ruin the movie for me. |

I did. |

Not true. Urban legend. Find out why with Google. 'nuff said... |

All you can take from it is a bunch of cool visual stuff. Thats it. To tell us that what we were talking about previos is wrong, is just plain stupid. We're perfectly able to draw our own coclusions and speculate. The truth is no one will know what the fuck is going on until the next one comes out. |
yeah...the trailer is justa big tease...I saw it also
it doens't help "explain" anything at all really...justa bunch of scenes of the next movie...that most wewre already shown in a trailer that had "matrix reloaded and matrix revolations" appear at the end of it. |
I stayed ot watch it. Looks even more violent. ALl hte more fun. RIght now though...Im listenign to the techno beat from the big rave scene in the movie. Nice cool:

There is no second Matrix. In the scene, THE ARCHITECT mentions ZION and THE MATRIX as two seperate entities. It's there in SLOI's copied speech as well. He says that WITH the destruction of the MATRIX AND the fuck up of THE MATRIX humanity is lost, which would lead one to assume that ZION operates on a seperate level.
Still, the machines ARE in control of ZION, because it's existence is allowed. However The One is NOT a product of CONTROL but a product of reoccuring "anomoly" - unbalance - within the programming of the matrix that CANNOT be erased, but simply mitigated. So while THE ARCHITECT does exercise a great deal of control here, THE ONE is ALWAYS the wild card. And other ONE's are referenced earlier in the film by the MERG (French baddie). He talks about NEO predeccers being more respectful and boasts he will out last NEO as he outlasted the others. And this movie DEFINATELY needs to be seen more than once to appreciate it. |
Just to clear one thing up, Zion is not destroyed, the machines haven't reached it yet. In the scene after Neo and Trinity left the matrix and he told Morpheus that the prophecy is false he said that "Zion will be destroyed in 24 hours if we don't do anything." And the slaughter that the captain of the ship that rescued Neo, Trinity, Morpheus and Link was referring to was a counter-attack at the machines at one of the areas the commander was talking about earlier in the film (the one in front of the council.) 5 ships were sent to attack the machines and whatever one Cain (the guy that was infected by Agent Smith) was on set off its EMP early and disabled 3 other ships and they were all slaughtered except for Cain, who was rescued.
|
whoops its Bane, not Cain. Cain was someone else
|
Thank you, that makes sense.

[/quote:5201b] Don't forget...he was also pretty impressed with Neo Being able to stop bullets. Which would mean that 1. Either Neo's predacessors never could do that or 2.He never actually met any of Neo's predacessors and was unaware of their abilities. So if Nr.1 would be true that would mean that Neo is a unique anamoly. |
you know, it is funny, I really hated the movie walking out of it. But now after reading some of this, it makes me appreciate it a little more. Sure the action was great and Monica Bellucci's ass is incredible. But for some reason it didn't do the same thing for me as the first one did. However, I know after the 3rd one, and more of this is concluded, I am sure I will like it so much more.
|
...yes, well, I saw it..and thought it was dull as dishwater,
the "freeway scene" along with all the other "effects" were just so much loose stoolage Matrix:Reloaded = Weekend at Bernies II.... eek: |

I love the reaction of the French dude after Neo stops the bullets
"OK, you have some skill" |

ya, it was funny as hell when it was speaking with his accent so hardcore, you couldnt tell what the fuck he was saying LOL |
All I have to say is more porno scenes and fighting, less talking.
|
a matrix movie without tlaking will be crap imo
|
well ne way here is my prediction for the third matrix. ok the matrix will be destroyed but sumthin is gonna go wrong because the machines have never dealt with this b4. i bet a bunch of trapped humans in those "cropfields" will wake up. then the humans will beat the machines. thats i what i think because the trapped humans are gonna revolt hence revoulitoins. (ignore me if i dont make sense)
|
my prediction is that neo will turn out to be non-human

He chose love and hope over logic and rational thinking. It's such a major change that obviously something different will occur this time rather then history repeating itself as it had 5 times before. Also, I do remember reading that at E3, those developing a new Matrix game, set AFTER the third movie, have only told audiences one thing (or rumor) - that the Matrix will not be destroyed in the 3rd movie. It's believable.. Oh well.. November isn't too far away.. |

Make sure to also see the Animatrix (full thing, not just those 4 episodes available for download) and also perhaps play Enter the Matrix, which is actually pretty damn cool, for a console game that is, not PC.

it pwned
|
i just watched RELOADED a litttle bit ago,
wicked awsome movie, it left me thinking and i will continue to think about it untill the next one comes out in November. you got to love the thinking movies.....why?, well because if you go see some comedy movie you just leave the movie and yoou laugh a little bit but a week later it is all forgoten..... i have read every post in this tread, but im still not sure what to think will happen in the next movie... and im questioning if the matrix series will stop after revolutions i got a lot of thinking to do, i will post later man am i glad to be alive to see this stuff!! |
