me too :( |
Most of my encounters with celeberties have been with athletes, and very nice ones too.
I've met almost the entire team of the New England Patriots. All of them. Brady, Milloy, Law, you name 'em. My best friend's father is the teams Chief of Negotiations. VIP access to almost everything. cool: Before becoming Chief of Negotiations for the Pats, he was a player's agent, working for Bob Wolf. One of his clients was Doug Flutie, CFL legend, Hiesman Trophy recipient, and Mass native. I actually went to Flutie's house in Newton. :) The town that I now live in, Waltham, MA, is the location of the Boston Celtics's workout center and practice area. I regularly see guys like Paul Pierce and Walter McCarty around a few blocks within my house. I have yet to meet Antoine Walker though, however, I do know where he stays within Waltham (Bishop's Forest). Mike Battista, an all star midfielder of Major League Lacrosse, has visited many of the camps I have been a part of and even a few of my HS practices. He's a very nice guy, and a very good lacrosse player. My current science teacher was first team All-American at Brown University for Lacrosse. He's a pretty nice guy too. However, my greatest moment was meeting Ray Borque within CVS. Shit, that was awesome. That guy is held in the highest esteem of Boston sports legends, and he damn well deserves it. He was one of the nicest guys I've ever met, and I'd still have respect for him if he hadn't already earned it through his loyalty and respect for Boston and its fans. |
