Geforce 3 Ti 200 - overclocked
I bought the Radeon 8500 and a Geforce 3 Ti 200 to try 'em both (and then return the worse one to the store http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/wink.gif ) I was about to keep the Radeon 8500, but after overclocking the Ti 200 to Ti 500 speeds it outperformed the Radeon in almost any test I did, while being 50 bucks cheaper. Hopefully the canadians get some good drivers out soon. ------------------ Death http://sites.ubisoft.fr/grimfandango...s/manny250.gif is only the beginning Visit: http://www.theunholytrinity.org/crac...m/cwm/read.gif Manny's Performance Tweaking Guide http://www.theunholytrinity.org/crac...m/cwm/read.gif and http://www.3dpcgame.com/cwm/s/cwm/3dlil/eyes.gif Manny's Little Corner (Update:Jan17th) http://www.3dpcgame.com/cwm/s/cwm/3dlil/eyes.gif |

Overclocking the 8500 would have given you far better results, as it is now your card wont do much more whereas the radeon had more potential. ------------------ nVidiot: Human being brainwashed by false statements and propaganda from nVidia Corp. into believing all things GeForce are of the highest of superiority and defy all logical grounds of video cardness. Belief in 3Dmark2001 Benchmark scores regardless of quality, functionability, and compatability is a common worship and religion of these fundamentalists. However do not take these poor souls lightly they are armmed heavily with propeganda, false statements, DetonatorXPs, and GeForces. Remember nVidiots come in all shapes and sizes. Be on guard or you will be assimilated. Maybe because nvidia do exactly the same thing with their drivers. About a year ago nvidia released drivers that had no level of detail bias slider. In the driver code it was discovered it was set to low to help boost quake 3 benchmarks. Of course a lot of sites overlooked this but as soon as a competitor does it, its front page news.

If one kid steals a candy bar, it's ok for everyone else to do it? |
