Thats still not safe and can be extremely dangerous for pedestrians and other drivers. I wouldnt mind if the ricers did it in a nonpopulated area or something but doing it on a suburban road is retarded. And most of them cant drive for shit anyway and end up killing people.

As a young man I particapated in bracket racing at the local drag strip. It's drag racing to see who can run closest to the same times. I ran a 1972 Dodge Demon with a 225 6cly auto and ran 19sec to 19.5 all day long.
