I didn't notice the 5 but I did my calculation as well...17+ kills + 2.5 deaths a min doesn't add up. You have to be constantly popping up in the enemy spawn pattern and getting a kill every 3-4 sec...and that's not counting the 2.5 deaths. Good job ydiss but still don't assume having a 100+/30+ deaths is same as holding that ratio over in the hundredth.

You say I couldn't neccessarily get up to 1045 maintaining a kill ratio of 100/20, though... At 104 I was hardly taxed and that is 1/10 of the way already done.

Also, one of the players who left before the end was quite close to me in score and ping. I lead him by around 20 the whole way and he was taking his fair share of kills, too.

Now if he played against me all the time it'd be harder to get 1000+ fast. It all depends on your opposition.

Also, although my ping is very good(refering to your first post), I sadly have a voodoo3 and Duron 700 set-up. I tend to get under 25 fps all the time in Stalingrad, so ping's not much of an advantage to me until I upgrade.

I count 6 100+ pingers in my screenshot, and only one 200+ pinger (who has the second highest score at any rate). That leaves 15 with decent pings. I don't think I had that much of an advantage, really.

I have played for 8 hours on MoH:AA demo before, but on The Hunt. I'd get bored of Stalingrad after 3 hours, let alone 8.

FFA dissapoints me greatly in MoH.

There's no doubt that shotty = easy to get 1000+ kills in 5hrs or less. I've done it 4 times,2 times with shotty only, 2 others with all dif weapons. (I know what you all thinking...it was a SUNDAY, I had nothing else to do!!!) I didn't do 100+ in 20 mins but 100+ in 30 mins. Nevertheless...its nothing to be bragging about, just something that CAN be done.

It's not hard to keep concentration when you don't have to think. Stalingrad is designed for shotgun and it's easy to own, teamplay or ffa.

Think about it. I don't have all 19 targets in my screen at once. If I did, I'd die pretty bloody fast. I hardly use grenades in Stalingrad, thanks.

You don't have as many trying to kill you, so you stay alive longer (check my death rate out, 33 in 20 minutes is a lot higher ratio than 300 in 8 hours).

Teamplay works like this: You spawn near team mates at all times, so you have to keep on the move to find the enemy. Stalingrad is such a small map that it's easy to work out where the enemy is and once you do find them they are all bunched together. With the shotgun you can rape them one after another with ease.

In teamplay you also don't have to worry about covering your back, as you always spawn near teammates.

In FFA you can spawn right in front of a bazooka.

Oh, and anyway... So I had two times as many targets as you. So divide my final score by two. It's still higher than yours. I coulda carried on doing that all night, but I decided I could better spend it doing something else (besides the server is set to 20 minutes time limit, and I've managed to get over 100 per game for at least 5 games in a row. Concentration, my arse).

I wasn't trying to compare, I was simply showing you that your score wasn't anything special. I wouldn't have bothered at all if you hadn't have shown that it meant so much to you.

I'm sure you're very happy with your 9 hour stint, you seem proud. That's why I posted. I wasn't going to bother 'cos at first I just thought you were having a laugh and showing off a little. Nothing wrong with that (I posted a score I was proud of on this board myself once).

It struck me too that the number was unrealistic. Approx 1 kill every 3 seconds. 1 death per 6 kills. That would require swarms of players milling around. No doubt there would be nades going off constantly. So the score would only represent nade spamming anyway. But the screen showed there weren't that many players.

These little boys are pathetic losers. Although, he did pretty well on the graphic alteration if you consider that he can't even write his native language fluently yet. Maybe in a few years, if and when he hits puberty.

Appearantlly in TEAM ASSAULT, there will be about 5 vehicles. No word yet on really what they will be. Although we do know its "supposedly" supposed to improve MP play.
