You're in a marine facility, id like to assume a base is gonna look the same for the most part, plus you havn;t even got to the hell areas yet where the game has a totally different look.

As for repetative gameplay, point me in the direction of a first person shooter that doesn't have repetative gameplay, they all do the same basic formula, kill enemies\complete objectves, same can be said for most types of games.

Halflife 2 halo2 same shit, kill enemies complete objectives, different setting different weapons but the core gameplay will be exactly the same.

There have been several occasions where i shat myself. Not so much in the beginning but once you get into it, its starts getting freaky. I think what freaks me out most is when you open a door and one of those fucking imps is waiting there an jumps at you, that always scares the shit out of me. Also the bathroom part when you look in the mirror, AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!! Some really tense moments.
