I haven't heard Ohio is bush.

Anyway, if Bush wins ohio, it's over.

If Ohio goes to Kerry, then I see it being VERY close, and i'm willing to bet Kerry would pull it out in the end if he takes Ohio.

Himmler 11-02-2004 10:49 PM

bush will get OH

I agree

Madmartagen 11-02-2004 10:56 PM

if kerry loses OH, he has to take NV and hold the rest of the states. there is talk of a Rep elector in WV who will protest against Bush's policies by voting for Kerry. Either way, half of the country is gonna be fuckin pissed off tomorrow.

TGB! 11-02-2004 10:56 PM

Kerry is STILL behind over 100K votes in OH. Its over. He needs to win NM, or AK to win (AK is 60% Bush right now) to get over 270. Thats IF Kerry wins all other states.

Its over.

I can sleep now in peace.

And you wanna know what else is fucking sweet? -

BUSH IS AHEAD BY 3 MILLION VOTES!

Take your 500K and shove it up your ass Gore!

Wont happen. AK is republican country.

ninty 11-02-2004 11:04 PM

But Ohio was at one point 300,000+ for Bush. So there are more Kerry votes coming in than Bush and there's 13% left to report. It's gonna take a miracle for Kerry to pull that off, but supposedly the remaining votes would be mostly democratic since their coming from inner city polling stations that vote mostly demorcatic.

We'll just have to see. Don't count your chickens before they hatch.

TGB! 11-02-2004 11:13 PM

AK for Bush.

It comes down to OH. If Kerry can pull a hail mary (Dems are saying their are upwards of 400K votes left to be counted that favor them - yea ok) then he gets mad props. If not - its over.

God fucking damn I love America.

Drew 11-02-2004 11:15 PM

OH has 10% remaining to be reported, the majority of the remaining precincts are historically Republican. Bush maintains a 117,000 vote lead.

NM looks to be pretty much a lock for Bush.

NV looks to be going to Bush.

This one is over, boys and girls. rock:

ninty 11-02-2004 11:19 PM

How can you call nevada bush?

Kerry 219,273
Bush 218,094

Anyway, whoever gets the popular vote should win, not the most electoral votes.

So Bush should win?

Hes got 3.4mil so far.

Drew 11-02-2004 11:22 PM

Bush was up in NV when I made the post. Lots of votes left to report and the NV results include Las Vegas, which the Democrats thought would pull them ahead.

Yes, if bush comes out with more of the popular vote, he should win.

Listen, I don't want Bush to win. But if the people of the US vote for him and elect him legally, then thats their choice. Thats fine by me.

However if that system was used in 2000, Gore would have been president.

If someone gets the votes, they should be president. I don't think anyone can argue that. The Electoral college system has a flaw.

TGB! 11-02-2004 11:37 PM

If we had that system Ninty - then East and West Coast states would rule this country at the detriment of the rest of the country.

That system works in Britian and France where you dont have states so much and a more solid national identity - not here.

The nationalism in this country is so far below that of others.

Madmartagen 11-02-2004 11:38 PM

this would hvae been a kickass election if more people had joined the pot. only 5 people participated, but looks like himmler and cloud get to split $5. bastards receive a 250% return on their investment.

but thats where the population lives.

it's the same in canada. 1/3 of the population is in ontario and quebec. we still have seats kind of like electoral votes, and don't go by popular vote.

I know you need electoral votes or seats to represent each part of the country, but it should equal out exactly, so the number of seats you get is proportional to the popular vote. It doesn't really work, but i'm sure theres some way to do it.

i will laugh if you guys vote bush back as president.

Akuma 11-03-2004 03:51 AM

God dammit. It's so close. 2 fucking votes.

Nevada, Iowa, and Ohio are all split 50/50 too.

geRV 11-03-2004 03:59 AM

Bush will probably scrape through by the skin of his balls, fucking hick. Oh well if he does 4 more years of the internet making fun of old monkey boy. dance:

Drew 11-03-2004 06:05 AM

Bush has clear leads in NV and OH. The Democrats are just grasping for straws now. Bush will become the 44th (?) President of the US.

Vance 11-03-2004 06:11 AM

Bush is leading by more than 136,000 in OH.

He's also leading by a slight margain in Iowa, by 15,625, with 99% of the precints reporting.

He's projected to win Nevada.

Bush also has the lead in New Mexico as well, by 11,620, also with 99% of the precincts reporting.

Kerry is projected to win New Hampshire.

I just wish America was at least done by popular vote. Like i can't understand how someone can get more votes and still lose. And it's stupid if there is a tie it gets sent to the house which is all republicans bitches basically and will use a biased opinion to pick Bush.

But i agree that the system showed there sounds alot better than what im seeing right now.

BeanerMan 11-03-2004 10:15 AM

Even if we only had the popular vote and not the electoral college bush still would have won. He won the popular vote as well. Sad really. People were more concerned that 2 queers fucked each other in their private homes than the economy and foreign matters. I mean come on I could give a rats ass if 2 homo's were together. As long as it doesn't affect me im cool with it. I just don't get all those "religious people" judging and critizing homosexuality. Who are they to judge. If religious people think that homosexuality is a "sin" well good for them. Let God judge them.

Pyro 11-03-2004 10:18 AM

I know Bush would of won. But if it was popular vote, he probably wouldn't even be running right now after losing 4 years ago.

The thing is, Bill Clinton didn't even win the Popular vote in either of his terms. It hasn't happened since 1988 or something like that.

Thats really fucked up in my opinion.
