funny, my DC still works as well as the day I got it in 1998. Very dependable piece of equipment. It still works, even tho:

1) I dropped it down the stairs numerous times.

2) Its so old, they stopped making games for it (Sega is now EAs whore)

3) I blew it up the first time Iplayed it iin germany, with incompatable electrical systems. The thing was spewing smoke, ffs.

4) I played it almost nonstop for the first two years I had it

Never had a problem with my PS2.

what good games????? gta series??? face it ps2 blows, and ps3 will be nothing but gt8 and metal gear solid 7 sequels over and over again sleeping:

i played gt 3 for like a combined 30 hours and still got nowhere.

well.. Gran Turismo is a game, just like MGS3, GTA:SA and FFX (maybe there are others?) that show you what the system is made of. but gran turismo is/will be nothing but fancy graphics and just constant time consuming, repeatitive racing.
