Nyck 02-23-2005 02:06 PM

I don white face paint and black eye shadow, a Ambercrombie tshirt, pelle pelle jeans, and some vans to complete the look. My hair is part long, part orange, part braided, and part ceaser cut.

Plus I have a lance armstrong yellow arm braclet.

Along with my limited edition "Parker Lewis cant lose" swatch watch.

Good riddance. Hopefully those pitiful fucks will break up now. They started one of the worst genres of music ever and deserve nothing short of death.

1. no
2. no, they will go on with the 4 that are left (thats what is posted on there site).

I don't hate life. There is nothing to hate. I have a better life than most people here.

I'm not trying to be cool. Maybe back in high school I did it to be cool. I don't know.

Why are you judging me anyways? You've never even seen a 'real' picture of me. Not that you can judge someone by their looks anyways.[/quote:39a5d]

Youre getting whiny because I'm "judging" you (and yes I have seen a pictar of you - chunky, small head, black hari. . .maybe youve hopped on the Jared Diet - I dunno) - yet youre ranting about KORN "dying" and getting sodomized by dung beetles or some shit. . .know what i do when i dont like someones music -

I turn the freakin channel -

Pyro 02-23-2005 04:33 PM

Christianity has done something right for a change...it took away one of the key elements to a shitty band...too bad it didn't make them break up like Blink 182.

Godsmack 02-23-2005 06:07 PM

Short Hand 02-23-2005 07:52 PM

musical snobs = gf1.com.

Their last CD to me seemed to be their worst. up until the untouchables I was pretty happy with them.

lasagna 02-23-2005 10:18 PM

....my question is why is KORN of all bands does a cover on another brick in the wall....

Crpl. Crunch 02-24-2005 07:52 AM

I admit that the last few albums weren't that great. But back in '94 they caught my attention, and became my favorite band back then. They sounded completely different. Nobody that I know of used 7 string guitars and tuned down to (A). I think that guitar sound inspired other bands to do the same. Deftones for example, when they started they used standard tuning. Now they tune to (G#). I think Meshugga does too, heck they even use 8 string guitars!

My point is, they were my favorite band and it is a shame to see something like that happen.

Zoner 02-24-2005 08:02 AM

I actually like this band too. "Follow The Leader" was a great record. Admittedly, their stuff since hasn't been the best. I bought "Follow the Leader" in 1999 and I pretty much listened to it exclusively that summer. Mind you, I was 26 at the time...not some dumb angst-ridden teenager looking to fit in with the crowd.

Maybe they needed something like this to shake things up a bit and get out of the rut.

Still funny though. Finding Jeebus and quitting the band is hilarious. happy:

Crpl. Crunch 02-24-2005 08:27 AM

I wonder if his quitting has something to do with a woman? He probably met an extremely hot chick who is super religious. I've witnessed things like that first hand. Hell, he's had a long career and made tons of money. Why not retire and stay home and plow some hot piece 'o ass? It's the American dream! biggrin:

Gonzo 02-24-2005 08:57 AM

Korn through Follow the Leader were all great cds, than issues started to push it cause davis started to use his pussy voice in every song.

[DAS REICH] Blitz 02-24-2005 09:00 AM

Follow the leader and issues both sound extremely similar. They were released quite close to each other as well. To bad my CD wallet was stolen, i lost over 82 CD's, including all of my korn albums.

Rofl, ok dude, ive heard korn, so i know what im talking about. Plus not once have i posted an "underground metal band" in the what are you listening too thread... so nice try.

Short Hand 02-25-2005 10:08 AM

That quote wasn't just for you, dumbass. Way to go for thinking "you" were just worth it. Also it can apply to any musical genre not just metal. People around here just seem to shun anything that has had any type of huge public success over Much / mtv etc.

lasagna 02-25-2005 10:09 AM

uh the quote was right under mine, so shouldnt i assume that your talking to me.... and btw i havent ever posted a general "metal"band, ever.

Short Hand 02-25-2005 10:11 AM

It was partially directed to you and many others. If i had meant it directly for you I would have quoted you junior. Now i am off to work.

lasagna 02-25-2005 10:12 AM
