Putting a 300-something into the Barracuda oOo:
|
9.2L
I don't know...don't care |
Christ, I think our Jeep is awesome. We've gone on mountain treks, and did some semi-off-roading, which involved driving through a plain of knee-high-yellow grass. We have a 2-wheel truck (Ford F150 Edge-2002 model) and its a massive improvement, especially when the streets are full of unshoveled snow and hard ice (Im talking Denver weather...I live in Aurora, a suburb of Denver, but my house is less than a mile and a half from Denver itself), as we have never once gotten stuck on upward hill (Something that happened to us with the truck...we kept trying to push up this icy hill, but kept stalling in place, so my dad just let go...then accelerated full speed and just skidded right through it).
Then again, I dont have much of a know-how about cars...not the inside's, atleast. And plus...what else is there? Hummers? Those things are as ugly as Pyro. |

Bam this is a mountain trek on the top of the mountain, in the clouds. My trucks 3.0 puts out about 150hp stock. Im hoping I can crank some more out soon. relieve some back pressure with a larger high output exhaust, some new plugs and wires. Custom turbo....ok so thats a dream but ya. Oh and also, driving through tall grass is one of the most dangerous offroading things youcan do. you never know when you will hit a giant hole, or rock, or person laying down. I hate driving through grass. |
187HP 2.4L

A '66 Cuda could have a 225ci Slant 6 or a 273ci V8 from the factory. The engine bay size was increased in '67 to accept the "B" family of big blocks. |

Also in '67 Richard Petty won 27 races in his Plymouth. That is more than half of the races ran that year. |
Alright it's a 383, not a 390. beer:
I don't really take the time to memorize some things. oOo: |
turbocharged 2.2L cool:
|
So you guys are going to modify the engine bay to accept the 383? That means that your building a resto rod. Did you consider buying a "crate" engines? I've heard good things about the 340ci crate offered by Mopar and it might fit in the engine bay without modification. Good luck with the build and take some pictures.
