The best thing you can do on your date is have a plan and be decisive. There's nothing worse than a wishy-washy fucker who says nothing but "I dunno...what do you wanna do?" Chicks HATE that.

You can have a few suggestions for things to do and ask her if she has anything she wants to do. If she does, do 'em...if she doesn't, do your list of things.

Dinner and a movie is a classic combo. Beforehand, you can hit some stores, go for coffee, play mini-golf (indoor this time o' year obviously)...just hang out and look generally interested in her.

Listen to her, ask questions...they love that kind of attention.

Then, after all's said and done, ream her like a lime.

The one piece of advise I'd give is to avoid a long first date. You said 12 hours... wtf m8? It's better to leave here (and yourself) wanting more at the end of the first date than to both be sick of each other. Plus, things might not go so well, and if you've made plans to spend 8 hours together, you'll both hate each other by the end of the night.

Like Zoner said, have a plan and be decisive. Just make sure the plan doesn't include 134984 hours of stuff to do.

Well as my date is working on saturday we have had to rarrange the date to today. So wish moi luck rock:

Well just finished the night, gotta say it was fantastic!

Started the date going into town, looked around a few shops, bought her a small braclett, We then went to get some coffee. Had a nice long chat there. And to warm up abit (its freezing next to the sea).

After this we went to a italian restaurant, started holding hands on the way to the restaurant, we had a lovely meal there, we both had lasagne, then a apple crumble for dessert. I insisted on paying for the meal, of which she didnt like at all.

After this we went to watch "Just like heaven" Really good film and was fantastic romantic film... perfect for our date! I again payed for the tickets and my drink, she refused my offer to buy her a drink, but ended up buying her own just before going in. After that we wondered around again, before taking her back home and ending the night with a nice kiss!
