the last and second are really cool.

It would make things alot easier for other people to references specific photos if you numbered each one in your posts.

Forte 02-02-2006 04:24 PM

1.was a year ago so ask my oldself sorry.
2.no tripod, i was standing in the water.

and yea it may be cheap but it does its job very well. its small and compact for social times but still managable to get good photographs out of.

anyways.

Whereabouts did you visit in NZ? I see you got a pic of the shotover jetboat - Did you go to skippers canyon? It's fucking nice down in the South Island....Alot more serene than up here in the big city....

Anybody know a good place to get either the Nikon D50 or D70? Also any recommendations on which camera?

[quote="Bean 2":66d39]Anybody know a good place to get either the Nikon D50 or D70? Also any recommendations on which camera?[/quote:66d39]
Circuit City if you catch them on sale.

Ritz Camera and B&H Photo are good stores too.

Get the D50, it's cheaper and pretty much the same as the D70. Leaves you more money for glass.

Bean 2 02-03-2006 11:21 AM

thanks akuma.

Scorched Earth 02-03-2006 03:14 PM

I know you like blurry but that is too blurry

Scorched Earth 02-03-2006 03:28 PM

well none of the second set of 5 were blurred. and a few from the first set, i did not intentionally blur. i slowed the shutter speed on one of them. the rest came by a coincidence of planning and luck. these are all raw images without any changes whatsoever by the way.

Art Attack 02-03-2006 03:36 PM

The picture with the trees and fog would be really cool if it wasn't blurry.

Scorched Earth 02-03-2006 03:43 PM

arg i agree. well i dont live in there area wheer a gajillion watt flash would be welcomed so i settle for the built-in one and for there to be enough light in the picture, the shutter speed slows. and my bro has the tripod somewhere...so i jus did the best i could with my shaky hands.

Blase 02-03-2006 05:00 PM

Damn, how'd I miss this thread? Great pictures so far guys, loving them all.

Here's a few of my newer ones. Taken with my Nikon D50, 28-80mm telephoto lense.

They would but you would lose alot of features. The lens would be magnified 1.5x , no autofocus, and you would have to shoot fully manual while adjusting the aperature on the lens itself; but all in all it still works. That shot of the Nikon cap, Gumby, and I <3 Skateboarding are all on an old macro slr lens.

sidenote: Nikon discontinued making fillm cameras loney: so hold on to it. In some time i'm sure some camera junkies will pay big bucks for what they can't get anymore.

cool. i got a Nikon N75 35mm. i dont feel like posting my photography, so...
