I was thinking about going to queens but I'm going abroad to England for my university degree..Don't feel like the canadian universities do the justice for the courses I want to take.

yea i know what you mean, ive been looking into an exchange program to acouple places like scottland, england, australia...

University of edinburgh is a decent school if you want to go to Scotland.

just come to American colleges ffs and spend half the cost. (which is still pretty damn high)

Pulled my socks up last year and finsihed with decent marks. Finsihed my last Semester in December.. I applyed to Guelph and Trent for Hotel and Food Administration.. Bachelor of Commerce, would like to own my own resort some day.
Im expecting my responses any day now.
Untill then im attending Azeroth University full time.

I'm a junior in high school. I'm looking at Brown, Boston University, Brandeis University, the University of Chicago, and maybe even McGill as possible destinations after I graduate.

i have a friend at Brown that seems to enjoy it.
I have another one at Bradeis and she said it "is alright".

Buk, I did the same thing - I bombed out through high school and didn't even attempt my senior year. Too much drugs at too early an age which I regreted at first, but now I see how pointless the second half of high school is nowadays with all the tertiary-level opportunities...

What do you plan on getting a degree in? University of Chicago is a pretty heavy hitting university they have the second highest number of nobel prize winners there, like 79 professors. Alot of my favorite journalist attented U of C.

Brandeis is a bit...strange. The educational aspect is fantastic but the culture is kind of whacky. Unfortunately, most people associate this with the fact that there is a large percentage of Jewish students at Brandeis. Not cool.

As far as my degree, I have no idea. And yes, if I apply to Chicago, it will be very difficult to get into. One of my favorite authors, Kurt Vonnegut, worked there for a while if I remember correctly.

I think my first choice right now is Boston University. I love the fact that it is in the city and has a very diverse student body. A lot of international students attend BU.

ha, yeah my friend that goes to Brandeis is jewish

I work for BU, not at their campus locations but at a Camp they own. I have seen many of their honors, upward bounds, and other random student groups from BU. They definitly are diverse Ill tell you that much.
I have several friends who go there and either love it or hate it.

Currently undeclared but I am about to declare Justice Studies Major and maybe minor in political science.

will be a junior after this semester with an AS in Chemistry
