So your saying that whoever takes over for Blair will not be likely to enforce UN resolutions?

Madmartagen 10-16-2006 12:29 PM

my coworkers mom just emailed her saying that her step brother stationed in Korea has been notified that we are at war with korea and will be going to fight soon. i havent heard this from any of my other friends and her mom is italian, so she may have taken the conversation out of context or just misunderstood - anyone know if shots are being fired already? i doubt it eek:

Nothing on CNN...yet. The troops are definately on high alert though. I know there's been one or two border skirmishes in the past couple weeks but that has happened before.

Coleman 10-16-2006 03:24 PM

yeah, she might be talking about those few isolated fights on the borders.

I have a friend that's been stationed in South Korea for a year and a half now. I think I'll send him an e-mail to see what's up.

WidowMaker555 10-28-2006 09:03 AM

I seriously think America should mind its own business.

c312 10-28-2006 09:42 AM

I wish the U.N. could actually deal with real issues.

and have anyone of you seen [url=http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/worldnews.html?in_article_id=410158&in_page_id=181 1:68511]this?[/url:68511]

Really shows how much Kim sucks. There is practically no electricity in NK besides Pyongyang.

He's in the Army Band playing trumpet. He doesn't get much action obviously, but he still does do major training and goes out on patrols in the streets.

I guess that's good news, assuming they're being honest here.

c312 03-02-2007 09:15 AM

They've done this in the past. They make deals to stop their nuclear program in exchange for aid. Then they take the aid and continue the program.
