GOW MP might be the push i need to actually pay for xbox live... mostly cause the SP campaign can only be played through so many times.

Online games are what push the replay value of the games, thats why I got a 360, rather than waiting for a PS3. im hunching that the online for PS3 will just be the same as the PS2 - hardly anyone playing .

no one wanted to go out and buy a network adapter for PS2.

Free my ass, the game devs have the option of making people pay for online so its a certainty most of them will hop onto that bandwagon as they'll be making more money.

The entire arguement was that SONY will have no one playing online because the PS2 has barely anyone playing...I'm trying to tell buckweed that is bullshit and people will be playing PS3 online as they have actually taken into consideration online gaming before they made the system.

It depends if sonys online system takes off, and obviously it deepnds on how many game devs want to charge for playing their games online. Obviously with xbl you've a fee once a year, with sony you could be out alot more money depending on charges for specific games.

True...hopefully it works out for both systems...better off having all systems work well as it gives you more options to what you could want to buy.

Have you actually researched the War of 1812? It was a standstill with almost equal victories on all sides - ended in a treaty. British/Colonial Canadians forced the US to abandon it's objective to take Canada but that doesn't mean they won the War by a long shot you silly, silly man.

I'd argue the British had more/greater victories during the war, but in peace talks, the US definitely had the greater victory. But yes, in the end, it was more or less a war nobody "won".
