Within 5 minutes the stupid bitch was talking about counting calories and how women's menstration and breast feeding burns more calories....and more stuff AT DINNER.

my wife is from Pittsburgh, I have cleansed her over her ailment though, except for the faggy steelers(which btw are doing worse than the lions now..lolz)

Hahaha.

Did you hear what Milt Stegal said about Toronto?

PS: were you at the game? Toronto has 4.5 million people and nobody there cares about football. To be cool in Toronto you have to like the NFL and hate the CFL, right? How often do you see someone in an argos jersey compared to a vick or other nfl jersey.

Toronto is 5 times bigger than Calgary yet we had a larger attendance at our playoff game. The stadium was sold out.

Vanier Cup (Canadian University Football Championship) is actually a pretty bnig deal here. I'm not comparing it to NCAA, but it's not like its a non factor either.

going to a game is nothing but great, from start to end. I love being in Michigan Stadium with 120,000 personal friends. You hear baaaand take the field and then the worlds best marching band comes out. Followed by the worlds best college football team. Even the tailgating on the golf course (thats where you park at Michigan games). You arrive about 8am to make bfast and party til game time. Some great times have been had in Ann Arbor!!!

Go Blue!!!

There's was a Raptors game at the same time...

Why would I go to an Argos game when i could watch it on TV...plus I like the NFL better...better atmosphere around it aka more popular.

Not my fault Calgary can't afford to have a team in all te major sports...her eit is leafs nation...over everything...nothing even touches it...even with HUGE competition.

sorry i can't say the same for the flames...maybe only when they win people come out...which is how we treat the argos...

Pyro 11-07-2006 03:26 PM

BTW just cuz the argos were in the game...people actually watched it on TV...usually the east semi final has no one watching...

...while because edmonton wans't facing the stamps...calgary-saskchewan was down...not like they care about the game...only their team those eskimo fans...

NFL i actually enjoy watching teams i dislike.

Sgt>Stackem 11-07-2006 03:27 PM

Nyck, its well worht the $30. My friends and I have a rule. If you drive you dont pay to park and I always drive

I watch whatever game is on tv honestly, and i got Sirius for all the listening i do to the games that aren't on tv (which the Jets are never on tv).

Like last night i watched the Seahawks and Raiders, i hate the Raiders, and im not a fan of the Seahawks, especially without Hasselbeck or Alexander.

Are you serious? Do you not remember a few years ago with the ownership group in toronto the argos were almost going under. You go to the game because you want to support the team and you want to be part of the experience. You've probably never been to a CFL game in your life, like 99% of other torontonians and that is why the CFL struggles in markets like Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.

the argos just won a cup a couple years back. And they were fighting for first place in their division with 1 week left in the season, and finished in second place. so I don't see your point.

Going back to Nyck's point of 9 teams...it is for toronto to be top 2 in the east...hell they should be required to do it every year...

not my fault calgary with their huge fanbase can't give their fanbase wins like the argos happen to be doing much more frequently...and i went to one argos game as a VIP in box seats.

Id rather see the leafs win the stanley cup, the raptors win the nba championship and the blue jays win the world series than the argos win the grey cup...hell id rather see the toronto rock win the NLL (which they are by far the best ever) than the argos.

Doesn't mean i don't like them...it just isn't a priority. And not my fault Flutie enjoyed being a argo more than a stampeder...

Sgt>Stackem 11-08-2006 07:03 AM

whats NLL?

Zoner 11-08-2006 07:52 AM

National Lacrosse League

Johnj 11-08-2006 01:17 PM

You guys have a pro lacrosse league? freak: Will wonders ever cease.

Zoner 11-08-2006 01:23 PM

Lacrosse used to be our national sport, believe it or not...and it wasn't too long ago.

Lacrosse is a fucking cool sport, if you ever get a chance to watch it. It's rough as hell.

yeah enjoyable experience...saw the clagary-toronto game (there are teams in the states too in the league) and toronto killed calgary and beat the shit out of them in all 5 of the fights at the end of the game

calgary wa sjust pissed off they were getting owned and started picking fights and got whooped.

best game ie ver saw...second best was one of the championship games...was front row too...but they lost 8-7 to philly.

Doctor Duffy 11-08-2006 10:03 PM
