only thing I could afford, plus it was my dad doing all the paper work, so I didnt want to argue with him on what I should get. I just pay for it/maintain it, no else drives it unless they ask. I dont do alot of driving, so it should last me a while. my job is like 2.5km away lol.

Coleman 04-16-2007 11:19 PM

ROFL yeah ok, considering the price goes up every fucking semester, I mean even Community College prices are getting higher every semester. I would love to goto VT (yes even after what just happened) but i can't afford it, and i dont want to take a shit load of loans out.

Well, they're supposed to be cheap compared to a "private college". PennState is getting a lot of publicity with their rising tuition costs. Some kid is taking a week off from classes and walking from Harrisburg to Old Main (PSU's bell tower). Will it do any good? Probably not. But it will get the word out.

Every time I turn around they're building a new building on this damn campus. Now they just started up the stupid Dickinson School of Law so a shitload of my money will be going towards some program that I'll never ever benefit from.

Hmmm. . .I think Id rather have the tatoo than that 1/3 million. . .

Unknown_Sniper 04-17-2007 10:19 PM

depends on how large the tat was...
In all reality I know when I leave school im going to owe someone $40,000 for a few pieces of paper and a ruined liver. Is it worth it? yes. It may take me until im 35 to pay it all off but I really don't care as it will get me a job doing what I like and not flipping burgers, don't get me wrong, I will still be flipping burgers, just on my own grill, in my own backyard. Because I was in debt.

Same thing here (Univ. of Alabama). Tuition has increased every single year since I've been here. We're building so much shit right now it's incredible.

College is a waste of time and money. Join a trade.

Or should I say, college isn't for everybody and trades aren't for everybody, so do what you want.

1080jibber 04-18-2007 05:19 PM

$0 i cant even get a credit card to get in debt.

credit card companys are funny, you allpy for a credit card and you have no credit and they wont give you a credit card. so you ask them how do i get credit? and they say, get a credit card oOo:

i should have got a credit card when i was in college
