Wow...this hits home hard..it's surreal when it's someone you know and used to talk to a lot...my heart and prayers go out to his family. If there is anyway we could all...idk..sign something and send to his family just showing them how many people cared for him, I think they would like that.

This is sad news.
I remember a while back he made a post talking about some action he had seen. He described hear a .22 being shot off near him. He was then told it wasn't a .22 but it was a rifle round whizzing by him. Sad I never really new him in person, he seems like he was a great guy.

it says silver star here, but the grave says bronze star. i've heard of people being nominated for something, but it looks like he was actually given a silver star, posthumously of course.

Yeah wow what a great way to come back from vacation, find out one of my fellow servicemen and a friend was killed almost a year ago and we had no idea.

I'm pretty much almost in tears, he was an awesome individual, And I will miss him.
