i think the nfc south is the weakest division football has seen in while this year. falcons, saints, carolina, tampa bay...lol wtf?
|
Has there ever been a team that chokes more than the bills?
first it was 4 superbowl chokes...and they seem to be winning everygame until the end of the 4th and then collapse. |
so no one knows about the Matt Schaub debacle?

Falcons swap 10th pick for No. 8; will get second-round picks in 2007 and '08 so they swapped picks this year and atlanta gets houstons 2nd round picks in 08 why the hell would they swap picks again. |

Patriots > All

Patriots look really good, i think maybe unstoppable....and this coming from a Jets fan.
|
The Titans will trump all of you.
|
The Jets are awful...atleast they had bad ass uniforms (the old 60's NY Titans uniforms) when they lost to the Eagles. lol i didnt realize how short Washington was until i saw this pic.

Im still surprised the Patriots are doing this well
|
It will be the biggest game of ever when the 8-0 Patriots face the 8-0 Colts.

i mean they won 3 super bowls and tom brady was throwing td passes to a couple fat white guys and a jew and now he has welker, stallworth and moss. |
The Titans will destroy you all.

Personally I'm glad they went for that last td. They're on a course to break lots of records, might as well shoot for it all when a good team forms. |
if they want to break records they need to draft HeHateMe.
|
Giants 4 game winning streak
lol...i would run up the score if I was the coach...humiliation is part of the fun. |
What goes around eventually comes around. That is why i say Red Sox fans and Patriots fans have no class at all...hell even ESPN hosts say it all the time, everyone knows it. And i think even nyck will agree with me on that one, being a Tigers fan.

Don't you like lets say a hockey game where your team wins 8-1...feels better than 3-1 riding up the score is part of the fun...effort needs to be 100% even fi you're winning 41-0...though you should be testing up your backup players |
I dont fault NE honestly
was this game not hyped up like hell.. GAME OF THE YEAR SUPER BOWL MATCHUP ETC... well NE showed that Dallas didnt even deserve to be on the field with them. Its proving a point it was a statement game and Im pretty sure NE made a statement |
The San Diego Chargers acquired wide receiver Chris Chambers from the Miami Dolphins for a 2008 second-round draft pick on Tuesday.
nice pick up |
Holy fuck what a pick up

Running up a score isn't bullshit IMO. It's legal for a reason.
|
No one ever said it wasn't illegal. I'm not denying the fact that the Patriots are a bad team, they are a very good team and i think they will more than likly go all the way if they stay healthy and dont collapse. And with that said Bill Belichick is a great coach...but a total piece of shit, last year when the Colts beat them he hardly walked over to shake Dungy's hand, all he did was look like he was going to cry, and Brady didn't even congratulate Manning immediately following the game on the field.

Holmes was a fucking monster, not sure about now, we will see. I bet LJ isn't happy.
|
HOF question: If Terrel Davis gets in, do you think Priest should? IMO, I think he should. Holmes was dominant for 3+ years, just like Davis was. Before LT, there was Priest.

Which leads to the WR problem. There are about 15 or so receivers in the past 5 years and current that have Top 10 records for NFL receiving (half of which come from the 96 draft like Owens, etc.). Art Monk, for example, has over 10k yards receiving. Isaac Bruce, by comparison, has more yards receiving, yet has never really had a dominant season aside from the Kurt Warner years. This leads to the Vinny Testeverde problem, where if you play for 20 years (as most WR's are currently doing), your going to break records. Out of all the great WR's of recent years, who do you think will get in, who won't? Examples: Terrell Owens, Jimmy Smith, Randy Moss, Marvin Harrison, Keenan McCardell, Rod Smith, Torry Holt, Joey Galloway, Keyshaun Johnson, Eric Moulds, and Mushin Muhammed (all of which have either already or are about to surpass 10k receiving). |
owens, moss, harrison, holt IMO
|
Just had to throw my support for the Pats in this thread. Didn't notice all the MA guys here. I'm originally from RI but moved to FL about 3 years ago (wow it's already been 3 years....).
The only time I get to see a NE game is when they play one of the three teams down here or if I'm on the road in the right part of the country. So far this year has been good, I've seen all of them. I would much rather see the pats loose say game 7 before going into the colts with some hunger to win. |
how 'bout them Pats?
42-7 at the half |

Miami trades Chambers, Green goes down with a concussion, and Ronnie Brown injures his ankle. WOO 1st round pick here we come. Not that it's going to matter because the team is in complete shambles. And Fuck sakes in 2 of my yahoo leagues, I'm up against Brady. FACK |
LOL @ Brady playing Madden on rookie with defensive sliders all the way down IRL
|
LOL,
Down here our local affiliate or the NFL thought it would be more interesting to switch to a more interesting NY game as they called it. - pissed me right off. Nothing against NY but I wanted to watch the rest of the NE game. |
LOL at seeing miami go for it on 4th and then make an 80 something yard touchdown drive to bring them within a touchdown for literally 12 seconds until the pats ran the kickoff back for a touchdown.

So true though, dude is like superman this year. |
The real test and game of the year will be in two weeks when we play the colts.
Now that will be a game! next week could be a tough one as well. |
